The Hotel was first class in every exception, we went half board and the food was excellent as was the choice.
George in the restaurant was a lovely, caring person as he helped us understand how the half board menu worked on our first night.
Excellent member of staff.
All staff were lovely and went above and beyond to help if needed.
The hotel was so clean and the rooms were spacious with a very large bed.
It was a hotel you felt very relaxed in. The seating area near reception was very comfortable, and both restaurants were beautifully kept. Breakfast had a fantastic choice of continental, english, pastries, fruit etc... choice of drinks covered everyone's taste.
The location was excellent. We were near everything, shops, Rambles, park and all designer and well-known shops.
If you are looking at a stay in Barcelona, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
We will definitely be going back to Hotel Barcelona Center. 10/10 in every aspect.

Greatly exceeded our expectations. Like a 5-star boutique hotel. Great neighborhood too with awesome tapas restaurants, top shopping, and beautiful local people.
My only recommendation would be replacing some of the older flags outside hotel and maintaining red carpet in entrance area. Noticed these when first walking in, but everything else was perfect.

Perfect location. Very comfortable bed. Good shower with products. Very clean bedroom. Loved that there was always cold water to drink it the foyer.
Tea and coffee didn't get replenished
One receptionist (not the tall one who was excellent) didn't seem to know how to call a taxi
