The room was new and well appointed. The shower was especially good with a rain shower head as well as another shower head. The towels were bath size and fresh. Maid service was excellent.
Pool could have been cleaner with a nicer area to lounge. The lobby of the hotel had a very strong antiseptic smell, likely from use of a strong cleaning formula.

The hotel is perfectly located in the Gothic quarter. This allowed easy access to many attractions with a map of the city provided and explained when we arrived. Hotel staff provided a list of recommendations of places to eat which was first rate and helped us find a fantastic Tapas bar and amazing eating experience. Nothing was too much trouble for staff, helping organise taxis, storing bags, dealing with my non existent Spanish and generally being friendly.
When I travel to Barcelona again, I will make sure to stay at Hotel Catedral.
We only had one night in Barcelona so did not get to try all of the wonderful hotel facilities. The pool looked devine.

Good location; front desk staff were very helpful and friendly ; gave detailed and clear directions on where to get to a place.
Staff at bar counter too were also friendly and attentive.

Great location close to the cathedral, staff friendly and helpful, very comfortable bed, stylish accommodation, spotlessly clean and with thoughtful touches such as a clothes steamer.
Given the hotel’s prominent commitment to sustainability, which is great, I was disappointed this didn’t appear to extend to animal welfare. I know it’s hard to find organic eggs in Spanish eateries but this would be a kind and smart addition to the breakfast menu. The UK and Germany are far ahead on this and I feel it’s more and more an expectation in such a hotel. After the first morning we chose to eat elsewhere which was a shame.

The hotel is extremely well located, you can walk to most of the major attractions, there are lots of wonderful restaurants close by. The breakfast was really good.

Loveeeeee the location. It's so central and close to basically anywhere. For late night restaurant, there's Luigi, which is such a good Italian. The staff were super helpful. I love the simple yet fulfilling breakfast they offered. I definitely would come back to stay here:)
