The hotel has undergone a major refurbishment. The whole hotel is lovely, the bed is comfortable, the shower is great and the in room facilities work well. The breakfast looks impressive and they had even scheduled a 45 min walking tour.
My door didn't lock properly but I reported and they will take a look. Personal preference but I want a fan of some of the breakfast. It was too much sugar and salt.

Location is amazing, beds were comfortable and bathrooms were great. They offer a very quick laundry service
We were initially in a room with windows facing the road. At 3am the first night the rubbish trucks came down the road, waking us up and keeping us up for a while. The next day we came back to the room at 2pm to nap and do some work and there were workers on a crane outside our window hammering and drilling. They could also see right into our room. No one had told us this was happening otherwise we would have organised to be elsewhere. We complained to the staff who tried to tell us they were just painting so they didn’t even know either. After a while they finally changed our rooms to one inwards facing with was great - super quiet.

The location was fabulous! So close to the cathedral, and walking distance to everything.
The hotel was a bit hard to find…the taxi driver couldn’t find it, and let me off around the block. The street was quiet, but there were no views.

Really excellent hotel and great value for money. The room was huge, the bed was enormous and comfortable, the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and attentive at all times, without ever being overbearing. Everything was spotlessly clean and lots of nice little touches like the 5pm 'cheese and wine' social and the free glass of Cava on check-in. Location-wise it is perfect - minutes away from the Gothic Quarter, right by the Cathedral (of course) and a short walk to the subway. I didn't take advantage of their breakfast or dinner facilities.
Honestly no complaints whatsoever. We didn't use the rooftop pool as it was too cold, but it looked very nice.
