Spotless. Location excellent. Staff exceptional. Manager gave my wife champagne and piece of cake with candle at arrival as her birthday was the day. Before.

We had a brilliant stay at the hotel. The location was fantastic, the breakfast amazing and the nightly drinks and nibbles a great start to the evening. The pool was also great to cool off in the afternoon.

We loved that the room was a quiet sanctuary, the bed was really comfortable, the decor spoke of quiet and calm, and the location was excellent. We also found the staff friendly and helpful.
The only downside was the taxi who was hanging around directly outside your hotel’s front door. My young daughter was too anxious to speak up when the taxi driver suddenly became in a huge rush and charged her double the tariff on arrival at La Sagrada. With a concierge, it would be nice if the property was to keep an eye out for the predatory taxis who are looking to scam your guests.
We loved the property. We did not like the taxi driver preying on your guests right outside your front door.

Location just perfect. Cathedral on your doorstep and many other sights, cafes, bars etc within walking distance, some further than others. Check out time of 12 ideal, meant we coukd go out for breakfast then return to grab our bags.
Cheese and wine offered for free between 5 and 5.30 pm, lovely idea but dependant on staff sometimes wasn't worth the bother, 2tblsp of wine if you were lucky and quality of Cheese nothing special either. Air con noisey! Room smaller than photos suggested.

Hotel Catedral Barcelona boasts a prime location and outstanding service. The staff are so friendly, helpful, and constantly smiling. Our room was gorgeous, impeccably clean, and featured an incredibly comfortable bed. The check-in process was smooth and easy, and the breakfast was absolute perfection! I will 100% choose this hotel again on my next visit to Barcelona.

Location is excellent, near by the Cathedral in the old city quarter. Staff are friendly and helpful. Love the morning breakfast there, good choices and delicious; they even provide hot instant noodles! Staff service in the restaurant is particularly great, made you feel at home.

Great breakfast. Apart from one breakfast server all the staff were exceptional - really helpful and always armed with a ready smile. The pool was a real bonus in the city. Everything was so clean and tidy. A real gem in a fabulous location for many of the main sights.
One breakfast server was always in a rush and didn’t listen. She completely missed our order on our last day and seemed obsessed with clearing away rather than offering service. The WiFi was also a little patchy and would drop
