Great choice for a city break in Barcelona. Perfect for exploring the Gothic Quarter. Lovely comfortable rooms with great, modern bathrooms. Staff are great and the free cheese and wine each evening is a great bonus.
The pool is a bonus rather than a specific feature of the hotel so don’t book it specifically for the hotel as it’s quite small and if a pool is important to you, maybe this isn’t the hotel for you. For us, it was merely a nice bonus. Don’t have the hotel breakfast, have breakfast in the cafe in the lobby - much better value.

The rooms are huge size for a central hotel! Massive bed and big bathroom with large shower, we were very comfortable during our stay. The location in the Gothic Quarter is fantastic, right behind the cathedral and close walking distance to many brilliant restaurants and bars. The pool was a godsend as it was very hot when we visited. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
A small thing, the noise from the corridor can be heard very clearly in the room and some guests returned very loudly at 2.30am - only a problem one night and definitely wouldn’t stop us staying again

The location is great - right in the heart of everything.
For ~$350 a night, I expected better. The room didn't include enough hand/face towels for each guest, and the hotel also required a €10 deposit for each pool towel. It felt unnecessarily stingy and not what I'd expect at this price point.

Lovely hotel with a comfortable bed and a great bathroom shower. The breakfast was excellent, with delicious food cooked fresh, and the restaurant catered well for gluten-free dietary requirements. The hotel is also very well located, making it a great base for exploring the area.
Unfortunately, Uber drivers are not able to drop off or pick up directly in front of the hotel. It would be helpful if the hotel could work with the local authorities to improve this or, at the very least, provide guests with clear information about the designated pickup and drop-off location before arrival.
While most of the reception team were welcoming, some staff interactions could have been friendlier. During breakfast, the team appeared overwhelmed by the morning rush and rather bluntly told us, and another couple who were simply waiting after saying good morning, that we would have to wait while they cleaned tables. At the rooftop bar, a staff member informed us that we could not be served or have drinks while sitting at one side of the bar, despite there being bar stools there, which was confusing. A warmer and more consistent approach to customer service would further enhance the overall guest experience.

Overall the hotel is very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was more the sufficient and you could order as much as you can eat. The room was small but enough to feel comfortable. Most of the staff were very nice and friendly

Location had its perks, close to the heart of downtown Barcelona and the Gothic Quarter. Bit of a walk to the port.
The hard part is vehicle access, most cabs will come to door while Uber will make you walk from nearest Main Street.
The complimentary wine and cheese at 5:30 was a nice touch.
Nice linen and soaps, plug ins next to bed, and Clothing steamer as well.
All the staff were great and pleasant.
We did not gave the chance to use all the facilities because we were so busy.

Would be nice to have a real coffee maker like Kcup or Nespresso in room rather than the instant. Everything else made up for this small shortfall
