The location was both good and bad. Good as it was close to Las Ramblas and the historic Gothic area, but bad because you turn the wrong direction and you are in a very sketchy area.
Rooms and bathrooms were small and not well appointed, sheets and towels seemed thin and dingy. AC did not work!

All the staff was amazing, frienddly, helpful and knowlwegeable about where to go and what to do in Barcelona.
The place felt very secure and it smelt lovely.
Excelllent breakfast with loads of choice.
The room was a bit on the small size although comfortable.

It was a very comfortable room, we had a great breakfast and the mattress was amazing! The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The main criticism we had was the air conditioning not working. I got the impression that it was broken across the building when I reported it. However this wasn't made known to us until we reported it and found out for ourselves.
Fortunately we stayed at the end of March when it wasn't too warm, but even then we had the bedroom and bathroom windows fully open to keep the room cool. If it had been peak summer this would have been a big problem for us, and we would have had no way of finding out that the air conditioning was broken until we had arrived.

Location- right in the middle of the ramblas. Metro station leceu is only a few minutes away.
Nice members of staff especially at the breakfast
Small rooms, same repetitive breakfast. Staff at reception desk could be a little more helpful when giving information about places to visit- I literally had to prompt them
