The hotel was centrally located with all attractions within walking distance, throughly enjoyed the roof top bar and pool, overall it was an amazing stay

Over last minute as let down by previous booking at another hotel. Really clean and sauna and pool amazing, friendly staff. Only fault….pillows, they were awful but would still go back.

A welcome on arrival and additional information was useful by admin staff on front desk. Our room was spotlessly clean. We used the sauna which was relaxing. Location was great, special thanks to Adrien for his warm welcome.

Good afternoon, I like Hotel America Barcelona.
This was my second time there, and I expect to return next year.

Cab stop right in front of the hotel. 10-15 minute ride to most anywhere , including the trian station.

One of the best rooms in Spain. Very pleasant and quiet. It’s on the junction and pretty accessible to shopping streets and food streets
Breakfast should be improved. This is the disappointing part. Very less spread and not great at all.

Disappointing
Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The rooms were extremely dirty, which made the stay very uncomfortable. The staff member at check-in was not polite or welcoming. In addition, the breakfast was very poor, with a very limited selection. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

Positive aspects:
The hotel’s location is good if you want to visit Casa Batlló or Casa Milà, although you will need to walk a bit to reach other attractions. The breakfast was tasty and quite good. It was also very nice to spend time on the rooftop during the day or in the evenings.
Negative aspects:
There was an unpleasant chemical smell in the hotel room. On the 6th floor, there was also a noticeable chlorine smell because of the rooftop pool. The pool is not heated. At the rooftop bar, one older waitress behaved very rudely toward guests. On the following evening, however, a male staff member served us and the service was excellent.
