It was in the great location and only few minutes away from the metro station.
This property has a central control system, and during the winter months it is set to HOT mode only.
When we arrived, Barcelona was around 15°C and sunny. Because the room receives direct sunlight, the temperature inside rose to 28°C. Unfortunately, since the system only provides heating, the only way to cool the room down is by opening the window to let fresh air in.
During the day, whenever we returned to the room, it felt overheated and stuffy. We had to open the window and wait for the temperature to drop before it became comfortable again.
At night, we didn’t feel comfortable or safe leaving the window door open while sleeping. Therefore, we had to close it and turn off the air conditioner, as keeping it on in hot mode would make the room increasingly hotter.
This is something future guests should be aware of, especially during sunny winter days.

Staff was very friendly.
Wifi did not work consistently. frequently dropped out completely.
Breakfast options were good. But in a country which starts dinner very late and where people don't go to the office before 9AM breakfast place should not close at 10AM sharp. I was literally told when I showed up at 9:50AM that they will close at 10AM (which I knew) and then reminded again a few minutes later that they will close soon and then 3min before 10AM they took most food away....

The location. The bed is comfortable. Breakfast is exceptionally good.
The smell in the room is smokey like as if someone smoked in the room i didnt like much but get used to it.

Location
It was 28 degrees in the room in the morning - apparently airco is not working in the winter so if you ask a temperature of 20 degrees and the room is 22 you need to open the window and not put on the airco as the systeem keeps up warming the room instead of cooling it down.
It was very busy in the hotel - we had a lot of noise from the neighbors
The shower could use some maintenance (water entering the bathroom due to missing joint)

Breakfast options were very nice. Thread count on the sheets was quite luxurious. Very clean, with a friendly, humorous staff. All in all a great overnight stop.
The light switches were in odd places, but once I found them... it was ON!

The room was comfortable, though adjusting the temperature was a bit tricky at times. I loved the convenient location, which made it easy to get around. The staff were wonderful, and the breakfast offered plenty of options to choose from. I would stay here again.

Extremely comfortable bed and great shower. The hotel was very clean and quiet. Never heard noise from the street or neighbors. It is in a great, safe neighborhood.
The room is quite small. It would have been very helpful if there were more hooks in the bathroom and bedroom.

Wonderful boutique hotel, the staff is super nice and welcoming, the location is perfect. Rooms are a bit tight but everything was perfect. Definitely recommended.

We only stayed for one night. The ambiance, decor, and architectural design and location were all excellent, and the breakfast was also very good.
We were extremely cold in the evening and wanted to warm up, but we were told that the heating function of the air conditioner wasn’t working — it only blew cold air. The reception didn’t answer the phone several times; eventually, someone from housekeeping came, but she didn’t speak English and couldn’t fix it. They brought us a heater, but even with that, we were freezing all night. The building is very hard to heat.
