Wonderful boutique hotel, the staff is super nice and welcoming, the location is perfect. Rooms are a bit tight but everything was perfect. Definitely recommended.

We only stayed for one night. The ambiance, decor, and architectural design and location were all excellent, and the breakfast was also very good.
We were extremely cold in the evening and wanted to warm up, but we were told that the heating function of the air conditioner wasn’t working — it only blew cold air. The reception didn’t answer the phone several times; eventually, someone from housekeeping came, but she didn’t speak English and couldn’t fix it. They brought us a heater, but even with that, we were freezing all night. The building is very hard to heat.

After sending several emails with requests for our stay, I always received answers within a day...and they met all our requests. The staff (Michael, Camilla and Dode) were the nicest young people. All their recommendations were great. It's a small hotel so it was nice to have some conversations with them and not feel you were just one of a crowd. It was very quiet in the room on the back side....the front of the hotel is on a fairly busy one-way street, but that seemed to be only during the day. The corner bar/tapas place was fun, and you began to recognize the young people who worked there...always busy. We are not breakfast eaters in the normal sense so just had coffee and pastry, but the choices looked wonderful. I would recommend this hotel for its charm, interior design, employees....if looking for a quieter hotel without amenities like a pool....
The only thing that would've been more positive was a slightly larger room; however, being an old building, I understood the constraints. The lobby was very comfortable...arranged like a living room so it was a nice place to relax after a long day with a glass of wine and a book.

Modern, clean, boutique, great location easy to get around.
Expensive at $350+ a night with fees for such a small room. One Front desk staff was rude and unwelcoming and it wasn’t a positive first second or third impression.

No sound proof, we could hear noises from the rooms above and next to us as if they're with us in the same room.

At Casa Elliot we felt like we were at home. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful with sharing with us where is best to go and best way to reach our destinations.
The hotel smell, decor and the wine and candies that they have available for guests during the evening, t made us feel at home.
I recommend Casa Elliot to anyone visiting Barcelona!

The bed was very comfortable. The location and staff were great. Really enjoyed this neighborhood and would stay here again.
My only complaint was not having a coffee machine/Nespresso.
