Great location, friendly staff, good facilities, very clean. Outside construction noise couldn’t be heard from the room which was great.
Our room on the second floor was looking into the roofed atrium so there wasn’t much day light but it didn’t pose an issue.

The hotel was beautiful! The room was silent and immaculate! The room looked out on a small courtyard. The bed was extremely comfortable! Every member of the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant! The bathroom was excellent and the shower/bathtub was excellent! The location was perfect! It was a few steps to La Rambla and a short walk to Plaça Catalunya! We were so pleased and would stay again in a heartbeat!!

Location, staff, room and all facilities were fantastic at this hotel. We are planning to come back to Barcelona and will definitely book in with this hotel, and tell anyone that asks how lovely this hotel is. The beds were super comfortable and we could walk to loads of main attractions from this location.

This is a nicely presented Hotel in a historical building that has been restored and is decorated to reflect Spain and Barcelona's heritage. The rooms are nicely decorated, the bed and the linens (bed and bath) are plentiful and of a high quality.
The staff were generally unwelcoming and I did not witness any unsolicited engagement with guests throughout my stay. I was informed at check-in by a staff member that money would be taken from my account as a security deposit; I was not asked or invited to pay even though I am the account holder. My room was located near the exit from the elevators on the second floor. It was noisy to a level that interrupted and prevented my sleep. The noise made by other guests exiting the lifts could be heard clearly in my room late into the night and then before 0600 in the morning there was a constant stream of noise that would be associated with trollies and deliveries or setting or a kitchen or service area which also prevented sleeping. At check out I was not asked about my stay. When I offered my feedback to the staff member they advised that their Manager was not available at that time but they would inform them and the Manager would contact me. I have received no such contact .
