Wide variety to choose from for breakfast. We arrived a bit before closing time and food items were being cleared. Bottle of champagne in my room was so thoughtful.

The street was in reconstruction. Awful place to stay during the renovation and noise. Seems like that info should be provided before booking hotel.

The hotel was great. The location was better than I thought when I made the reservation. The view from the rooftop is incredible. The only drawback was the rumbling noise. Subway? Your employees should be commended for their attitude and professionalism.

Beautiful hotel with well appointed rooms.
As the desk clerk handed me my keys she told me the room number and said it was a room with a view. The View was towards the air conditioning equipment on the building across the street. It seemed odd that she said that. I have no other real complaints about the hotel it's a very nice hotel with wonderful amenities.

Good location for access to most activities.
The first room had a step in tub/shower and for seniors it was very slippery and dangerous. When we changed rooms to have a walk in shower the room shrank in size quite a bit. Started to feel claustrophobic. Temperature was difficult to control.

I liked the rooftop.
It had an older feel, and the dryer in the room did not work. The coffee in the room was not great either. The location is central but with a lot of construction around.

The location and rich history. Breakfast was very good too. Most of the staff were very helpful, helping with luggage and getting us taxis.
The air conditioning in the room was too weak and we couldn’t adjust it. We ended up opening the patio door one balmy night so we could sleep. We like the wonderful flower scent in the lobby, but for someone allergic to certain scents like me, it was too overpowering. Might be helpful to tone it down? It’s not the property’s fault, but it was disappointing to see Las Ramblas all torn up. Personally I couldn’t enjoy the avenue because it was noisy, crowded and chaotic. I bet you can’t wait for it to get done!

The location is wonderful. The building is beautiful, elegant, and comfortable. The pool and terrace bar area was excellent, as was the view. But the best part was how helpful the reception and other staff members were. Special!
