Despite the fact I was always out and I couldn't join any of the activities of the hostel, I really felt the community vibes in there! The staff was also welcoming, they send daily information about the area around and their activities on a WhatsApp chat you can join. Lucas was the one checking me in, and he was always greeting me with my name everytime he saw me (great thing when the staff remember your name). He also helped me booking an extra night directly on the hostel website.
It is a party hostel, but that doesn't mean you can't rest. The areas are well separated, and there's a rule of silence on the floors after 10pm. I slept like a baby every night, the beds are sturdy and with the privacy curtain. You have a big locker underneath the bed for your stuff (but you need to bring your lock or buy one).
Shared bathrooms are on the floor just outside the room, you need your own towel or you can rent one. You also need your toiletries, although there are always leftover toiletries in the chill out room left by other people.
Every night the staff at the hotel cook free dinner for everyone, then they make drinking game and go out partying for the night. But if you think you need to be young to enjoy the atmosphere of the hostel, not at all: I'm over 40, and I spent my nights reading in the communal area with the free tea and biscuits provided and it was great!
Finally: perfect location, 20 mins from Sants station (connection to the airport and AVE), a couple of convenient metro stations nearby and a nice area packed with places where to eat, especially a lot of breakfast place.
Will definitely come back next time in Barcelona!

Loved my stay at Onefam Sants; all of the staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating!
Definitely recommend doing the planned events, another guest and I participated in a Onefam picnic next to Arc de Triomf and Laurie (one of the staff) made it so much fun!!

Close to sants which makes transport easy even thought is not that close to the center but still, has 2 big stores close, and even smaller markets with a big local market 10 minutes walking from there. Clean and a fully functional kitchen, the staff was lovely and would rotate making dinner for people.
Maybe not the best option if you dont vibe with a party hostel but thats just a personal thing and not their fault.

The vibe here is great. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed my time here, even if I didn’t hang out too much at the location. I love that there is a tour available every day. Super easy to get to on the metro from the airport.

Staff very friendly, especially Lucas do the check-in for me.. all my request he take note.. and for every guest they given wrist band for proof you staying there.. when next day i came back from outside and i didn’t wear and staff came ask me show the wrist band (friendly attitude) mean the staff very responsibility and safety for guest who staying the hostel. They had many event and everyday they had free dinner(cook by staff) but all event i didn’t join?? my schedule is very tight in Barcelona (3 night) so make me not possible to join them.

Very nice staff! Bel was extremely helpful during the check in process and made everything so smooth. The location was great too, only a 5min walk to the metro station.

Young & chill group of staff who actively engages with the hosted, bunch of activities and stuff organized by the hostel, plus pretty neat & clean place for its size.

I had such a wonderful stay at this hostel! The staff were super friendly and approachable from the moment I arrived. The whole facility was very well maintained and for a hostel, the bathrooms were impressively clean. Even though it was fully booked, the place did not feel overcrowded, which made the stay even more comfortable.
Lucas absolutely made my day. Such a warm, genuine, and uplifting person. He brought such positive energy. You can really tell he cares about making guests feel welcome, and chatting with him and the rest of the team was one of the highlights of my stay.
The location was also great, close to everything I needed and easy to get around.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay again

Surprisingly comfortable bunk beds with privacy curtain, outlet, and very large storage bins (it easily fit my carry-on luggage and 35L backpack together). I’m not a “partier” but knew this hostel was and it was still a great/social vibe. Very international travelers, good Wi-Fi (good enough to work while I was there), and good location if taking the metro places - grocery stores walking distance and a complete kitchen. Happy to have found a great, affordable option for any time I’m in BCN again!
The location is best for metro/bus (not as much typical sites in walking distance)
