The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hostel was clean, social, and well-organized, making it easy to meet other travelers. The location was convenient, with good access to public transportation.
The rooms could get a bit noisy at times, especially during busy hours, but it wasn’t a major issue.

I’ve stayed at a fair few hostels over the years, but this one genuinely stands out. From the moment I arrived, the energy was just different — warm, welcoming, and full of life. The evening events they host are a fantastic touch; it’s the kind of thing that takes a stay from “fine” to actually memorable. I met some brilliant people and had nights I’ll be talking about for a while.
A huge shoutout has to go to Luisa at reception. She checked me in and immediately made me feel at home. She was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to help — no question was too small. She even came out with the group one evening and was an absolute legend, making sure everyone had a great time and felt safe. That kind of above-and-beyond attitude is rare and makes a real difference.
If you’re travelling solo or just want to meet people, this is the place

LUISA? checked me in and showed me everything with such a nice and friendly attitude, the facilities are clean and cozy. It felt like being at home. Also big thanks to Ahmet and Elliot?? for being professional and welcoming at any given moment.
There are everyday activities and parties also a free dinner, it was my third time in Barcelona and always will come back to onefam hostels!?

Staff was absolutely exceptional. I want to give a special shout out to Caro, Luisa, and Elliot for being incredibly helpful, amazing, and genuinely good people. Highly recommend this hostel!
There is one bathroom per floor so during peak hours you may have to go to bathrooms of other floors but it’s only a minor inconvenience!

I can't recommend this place enough.
Firstly, THE STAFF, especially CAROL was AMAZING!! From the time I walked thru the door to when I ran out to catch my flight (I missed it lol) they were so helpful and brilliant. Carol made check-in so pleasant, and thoroughly explained everything I needed to know.
Next, THE VIBES! I've been to many many hostels and this is the first time there's been a free communal dinner (veggie), drinking games, AND an organized pub crawl ALL FOR FREE.
The facilities are IMMACULATELY CLEAN. The showers are cleaner and nicer than some of the hotels I've stayed at. The bed nooks are useful, and the bed curtains are a ++. Lockers come furnished beneath the beds.
There is zero noise from the street as it's in a residential area so everyone is super quiet at night. The only sounds will be from your roommate's snoring ?.
Location: Excellent! It's 5 min walk from the metro, 2 min walk from a Lidl and Codis supermarkets so you buy anything to cook in the nice and clean kitchen!
I didn't like that I couldn't stay longer ?? (due to my schedule, not the hostel's fault haha)

The coolest hostel I’ve stayed in! The atmosphere is super vibrant and full of good energy , it genuinely feels like a small family rather than just a place to sleep. The staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything you need, which makes a huge difference.
Everything is spotless and very well maintained, so you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. The location is also perfect easy to reach everywhere by metro or bus, and having Lidl just a 1-minute walk away is super convenient.
Special thanks to Elliot for the smooth check-in and to all the amazing staff for making the stay so enjoyable.
Honestly, it’s one of those places that makes you want to extend your stay. Highly recommended!

The hostel had a great atmosphere and was very clean and well-organized. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the common areas were perfect for relaxing and meeting new people. The location was also convenient and close to many attractions.

Everything was exceptional, the staff, the activities, the hostel itself. I had a great time. The staff like I said it’s super nice (especially Laurie ;) they provide a level of hospitality that you wouldn’t expect at this price point and especially in a hostel. I will definitely be coming back!
