Gabriel welcomed me. I really liked the reception and the tips he gave me. All the other staff also deserve praise. They offer coffee for those who want to make it, biscuits, and tips about breakfast and lunch near the hostel. In addition, every day there are suggestions for city tours with them in the afternoon, free dinner at the hostel, drinking games, and then different parties to go to with the hostel guests (It has a schedule for each day of the week. Super organized).
I was traveling alone. It's great for anyone traveling alone or no, then you can explore the city even more.
Nothing to complain about. Just congratulations.

Without a doubt, one of the most incredible hostel experiences I’ve ever had in Europe. Located in one of Barcelona’s best neighborhoods, surrounded by excellent restaurants, points of interest, and public transport options, Onefam not only delivers on the basics — such as outstanding service, spotless cleanliness, and high-quality beds — but also offers an inclusive atmosphere rarely found in hostels.
The team genuinely cares about every guest, acting as a connector between travelers and ensuring that what can often be a cold and solitary experience in a hostel becomes a remarkable journey of friendships and connections.
Cleanliness is also worth highlighting: bathrooms were immaculate, rooms — even with high guest turnover — were always clean, and the common areas were well maintained.

I had stayed at Onefam before and, when I had the chance to spend one more day in Barcelona, I didn’t think twice about where to book. This incredible hostel is perfectly located — close to attractions, public transport, and great restaurants. The rooms are comfortable, and the cleanliness of the common areas is among the best I’ve seen in any hostel.
But, what truly sets Onefam apart is its staff: amazing, inclusive people who make every stay feel special and turn Barcelona into an unforgettable experience.

This was the best hostel experience I've ever had. They have by far the best bathrooms I've seen out there.
The team working at Onefam is a collective of very cute individuals from different backgrounds. They divide their tasks so that each day, you have another person in charge of certain tasks. Which is nice cause this allows you to meet many of these beautiful and diverse souls.
Some guests could clean up after themselves more carefully. Thankfully, the staff was so often cleaning the installations that nothing was left dirty for long.

I really enjoyed the free dinner provided. It was a very fun environment and helped to meet the other people staying in the hostel before getting ready for the bars and playing drinking games. The entire staff was super nice and friendly. Shoutout Sasha, Aidan, Natasha, Olivia, Alistar, Amina and Dorothea, Y'all made the stay much more enjoyable and fun!!!

Nice stay. Comfortable spaces. Beds can fit tall people comfortably (6 to 6’3). Excellent staff. Good social atmosphere.
Nothing that I can think of. For a hostel at this price, it’s good. If I have to nitpick, I was not too much into activities planned by the hostel unless you are really looking to socialize. I chose to venture the city on my own.

Amazing Lucy and Fran were so helpful and friendly everyone at One Family made me feel like part of the family. I really enjoyed my time there and would highly recommend One Fam in Paralel to anyone!

Best location out of all Onefam hostels in Barcelona! Walking distance to the beach and metro, conveniently located close to grocery stores and dining.One way street, very quiet but central. Very social hostel, excellent if you want to meet and hang out with other travelers. Daily free tours based on tips were excellent. Social games after dinner each night, different club every night.
The staff was above and beyond! Lucy, Joan and others did amazing job in welcoming, giving suggestions as what to see, addressing and resolving issues.
Kitchen area was spacious, clean, had everything including plenty of plates and cups, Brita, kettle, free tea and cookies, free vegetarian dinner. Fridges were small but my food was never stolen even if labeled which already happened in other hostels around the world.
Nice area outside. Charging points in common area. Luggage storage free of charge prior to check in and after check out. Elevator.
Showers were clean, modern.
Rooms had shoe rack, hangers, big mirror which is rare in hostels and AC which was working perfectly.
Rooms were small, 4 bunk rooms were almost claustrophobic to sleep since it was a cubical style with short curtain on your legs side. 2B room had more storage underneath the bed then 1B so I needed to store my carry on size suitcase in locker room but I preferred it rather then upper bed with wooden stairs to use to get there.
Light next to my bed wasn't working. Only 1 outlet next to the bed, higher then the bed so you need to have cables long enough. Luckily I had a big universal charger where I could charge both my phone and the big camera battery.
Some travelers were not respecting the quiet time policy even after 1 am. It annoyed me to school them about " do not disturb" mode on the phone , mostly men from non English speaking countries.
Room 2B had 2 showers, one of them was separated from bathroom which was very convenient. 1B had somehow only one common bathroom for all rooms ( over 7 people).Only 1 night I didn't had hot water in the shower,staff was willing to help out if issue reoccur.
