It was my first time in a hostel as a solo female traveler.
People from the hostel: The people are amazing, helpful, smiling, there for you! There is always someone in the reception and you feel safe, because the quality of the people you meet is so good. There was such a good energy around!
Activities: They organize daily activities, such as an art tour at lunch time. Keep in min you need 1euro cash to pay for the headsets. They also prepare a dinner at 8pm, followed by drinking games for 1h (nothing crazy, just funny enough even if you are not a drinker). From 10pm is quiet and you can choose if you want to relax or sleep or go out with them for some hours into the night.
Room: I was in a 4 beds room, staying for 2 nights and be lucky to have only one roommate in the first night and one more during the last one. One of them was out for the night and when he returned I could easily sleep back, since he tried to be silent. This made me happy, cuz people were always trying to be respectful. The bed is spacious and you have a little curtain for privacy. There is 1 socket above your pillow and a light that you can open when you need to read or anything. The mattress was so comfortable, I slept like a baby. You can leave your backpack inside, because near the mattress there is space (like in a tent) for personal belongings. If you have valuables, you can pay 3euros I believe(?) for a key to lock your things in a drawer. I recommend it, since it’s dead cheap and you don’t know what the strangers in the room are like, even if you talk with them. Better safe than sorry. I locked my laptop there. In the room you have a shoe rack and a cloth hanger.
Bathroom: One or two bathrooms are at each floor, they are clean, private and well maintained. Don’t forget to bring your own towel since it is a hostel.
Kitchen: it is fully equipped and big enough and you can have your breakfast there in the morning or just hang out there for some conversation with them or to others.
Usually, I always have something to point that I didn’t like, because I do have expectations and I believe there is also space for improvement, but I loved everything. I would do it again anytime I’m back in Barcelona.

Clean, safe, friendly hostel. The location is also good. Metro and buses are reachable by 5 mins walk. Staffs are very friendly and kind. I really recommend this place. No need to search all the hostels in the city. Just book it and enjoy your time in Barcelona. Thanks to all staff, especially Gabri

Great hostel that offers activities everyday. They also offer a free vegetarian dinner every night.
The people that work and volunteer at the hostel are amazing! Would definitely come back when i’ll return to Barcelona.

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel! The place was very clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I truly enjoyed my time here and will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

The doors to the rooms can’t be locked like at all.
People’s factor - I had issues with neighbours leaving doors wide open when leaving the room with lights on in theirs bed for hours which can be quite bright at late evening time. Windows wide open even though it’s not summer and gets really chilly at night - I ended up catching cold from that even though my bed was far from window and I had to sleep in my sweater.
Just a few tips:
Make sure to bring padlock- the only way to have at least your belongings locked (you can buy it at reception as well)
Bring warm pj - never know what kind of neighbours you will have.
