Initially there was an issue with our room, on the 1st floor - We went to reception and they moved us to the 5th floor - Also assisted with moving the luggage

The location was ideal for access to the Gothic quarter, with lots of shopping and restaurants close by.
The lighting and temperature scheme in the room was very hard to figure out. The air temperature was hard to regulate and went from freezing to overly warm overnight. It was not user friendly at all. The lighting was also odd, in that some parts of the room could only be lit from a master switch. Even after 3 days there, we still could not understand the switch configuration.

Location was great, appearance on arrival, lovely foyer, bar staff great, reception helpful. Rooftop nice although not open due to weather. Clean. Great coffee in room. Shower was really good and temperature hot.
No real atmosphere, room make up not until 2pm each day. Room too small probably smallest in hotel (room 408) picture shows room right beside the elevator, atrium view so could not tell what weather was before leaving. Decor in room had water damage and was tired despite advertising recent refurbishment. We paid a lot for the room which was disappointing.

Great breakfast. nice service. Coffee was self serve out of a brew machine. Quality could have been better. Really liked the fruit and the ham. Patries were great as well. Great selection overall.
Front desk helped me book Barcelona FC tickets.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The location is absolutely incredible, right in the middle of everything but just far enough away that it doesn’t feel chaotic. The doorman was exceptional from the moment he welcomed us and we enjoyed seeing his big smile each day. The breakfast was amazing and there was even a little ‘treat’ station set up every evening near the elevator. Can’t wait to stay here again.
Just a small thing but the bathroom sink is located outside the bathroom in the room. A bit inconvenient for toiletries and space.
