excellent location one block fr Barcelona Cathedral.
Air conditioner issue the first night (during heat wave) but was promptly moved to new room the next morning.

And if you are not willing to welcome guests of different races or backgrounds, then please be upfront about it. We have plenty of better options. Do not waste our time, or ruin what should have been a pleasant experience.

A terrible stay — by far the worst hotel experience of our entire trip to Spain.
This was the final night of our trip, and we had hoped to end it on a positive note. Instead, we spent the night dealing with a broken air conditioner and an hotel that failed to properly address the problem.
The air conditioning in our room did not work. After trying to adjust it ourselves, we contacted the front desk.
Instead of sending someone to inspect it, the hotel told us that opening the window had affected the air-conditioning sensor.
But no one had told us that the window could not be opened. There was also no warning or notice near the window.
More importantly, no staff member ever came to the room to inspect the air conditioner.
That is the core problem: the hotel did not actually try to diagnose or fix the issue.
We then asked to change rooms and were told that no other rooms were available. The hotel offered two options:
1. Stay in the same room and receive free breakfast.
2. Move to another hotel, pay for the new hotel ourselves, while the hotel could not even confirm whether our original €400 room charge would be refunded.
Neither was a reasonable solution.
The first option did not solve the problem at all.
The second simply transferred the cost, inconvenience, and risk to the guest.
By then, it was already around 11:30 p.m. Moving hotels would have meant packing everything, arranging transportation late at night, and potentially paying for two hotels without any guarantee of a refund.
That is not a realistic solution.
The room cost around €400 per night.

Pedro and Georgie were always very pleasant,efficient and accommodating. They constantly asked if we were comfortable and if we needed anything. Check in was a breeze and with these two gentlemen, getting a cab was no problem at all. Many thanks to them for their hospitality. The hotel is fortunate to have such wonderful employees.
We wished the indoor dining room was available after breakfast.

The location was very convenient and our room was
spacious and well-thought out. Nice amenities were provided and everything was very clean. High quality linens. Breakfast had a good range of options.
I found the bed to be quite firm and uncomfortable but others might prefer that.

Location was excellent, close to everything. Staff were friendly and lobby was nice!
On first day of our stay, there ants in the room near the pastry jar! Second day, the shower smelled had a very strong odor of sewer! The cleaning staff did if vacuum the room when asked! The room was noisy every morning because we could hear the next door guest showering!

The location is perfect for first time visitors. The staff is excellent friendly and most helpful. The upstairs rooftop bar restaurant and pool are a great way to get a bite to eat and wind down the night

The location was perfect. We were able to walk around downtown Barcelona. The staff was very helpful and professional restaurant. Food was great. Rooms were super clean and nicely designed.
