Staff was very accommodating and always wanting to help. Very clean and food at restaurant and breakfast was fantastic.
The beds were hard. They need to upgrade mattresses. They also need to give a better description of rooms as my room had no windows facing outside. Had I k own I would have booked a different room.

Great location, staff were exceptional, beds were comfy and room was very big. We had free bottled water in the room and nice shampoo / conditioner

Spacious, comfortable and well located — but a few things to know
A very enjoyable four-night stay overall. The location is excellent, with most major sights around a 10–20 minute walk away. Our room was exceptionally spacious, with a separate lounge area, very comfortable bed and three different pillows per person. The large double-vanity bathroom and shower were excellent, with consistently good hot water.
Breakfast was very good — a decent buffet plus a small à la carte menu. Reception staff were warm and welcoming, and the complimentary Cava/Prosecco and delicious chocolate lava cake on arrival were lovely touches.
Overall, comfortable, spacious and genuinely welcoming, with a great location and breakfast. A few shortcomings prevent it from being five stars, but we'd still rate it 4/5.
A few things worth knowing before booking: the rooftop pool is much smaller than it appears in the photos and only around waist-deep. There's also no gym onsite; instead, guests receive complimentary access to a gym about a three-minute walk away, which isn't quite as convenient.
Our main issue was a persistent musty/eggy, sewage-like smell throughout the four-night stay. Family staying on another floor experienced the same issue. We mentioned it at checkout and staff were receptive and said they would investigate.
Having both air-conditioning and a ceiling fan was great, although our fan had a mind of its own — randomly changing speeds or switching off, with an intermittently unresponsive remote.

Well positioned for a first time visitor to Barcelona. The rooftop bar was a welcome respite after a busy day touring.
The front desk staff were aloof and disinterested. The lack of warmth and hospitality diminished the vacation experience for my family.

Friendly staff, superb location 3mins walk to placa de catalunya. 7th floor terraced balcony room, comfy bed, tea / coffee & free daily bottled water, rituals gels, shampoos & body creams. Rooftop bare area with plunge pool & sunloungers ( lovely thick padded cushions ) & the restaurant outside & inside area was stunning g along with greats views to the Gothic Quarter Bascilica, & beyond towards the port & coast. It was my partners 60th Birthday present from me & the hotel gifted her a hand written card & bottle of lovely sparkly with a sumptuous chiclate dessert to die for presented on a beautiful platter plate - lovely kind touch from them so nice. Book this superb H10 central hotel as it guarantees to excites & will never disappoint !
