Great place! The location is just 10 minutes' walk from Arc de Triomphe. Every day, I would help make the bed and change new towels. Everything in the room was very clean, and the pillows smelled of clean laundry powder. The front desk is eager to answer questions, and there is a mini communal kitchen with refrigerator refreshments and more. A very pleasant stay!
The only drawback is that the hot water for bathing can only be washed by one person, and it is completely cold by the time the second person washes it.

The location was right in the center of the city. We could walk to all the main attractions. The staff were really friendly and helpful.
The room was smaller than it looked in the photos. However, the room size was disclosed in the website, I just didnt pay attention to it.

Great location, lovely old building with friendly reception. Small but comfortable rooms. Open kitchen space was a welcome addition.
Possibly because of choosing a room with a small balcony, it was quite noisy in the early morning. Next time, we would choose a room towards the back.

Lovely friendly staff, clean, well presented rooms. We had a great balcony to enjoy a few drinks. Lovely area and within walking distance of all the top attractions. The shared kitchen is also a bonus.
Maybe having a kettle in your room would be good.

The location is great, very close to the gothic quarter and El Born neighborhood.
The room was very clean and we were very comfortable there. The terrace was a beautiful addition:).
The staff were so friendly and helpful! We loved our stay at Casa Consell.
Everything was great.
The building is old so some cracked tiles in the bathroom is expected but it only adds to the charm of the place. As mentioned it was very clean and fresh.

I love these little gems of places and Barcelona seems full of them. The guest house is in a great location, with easy access to restaurants and other attractions. Comfortable and clean with some lovely touches such as the tiled floors and a convenient DIY kitchen where guests can prepare snacks or full meals.
Make no mistake. If you're looking for luxury and great amenities, look somewhere else. But if you want comfort and distinctive quirks as well as a great price value, this is a wonderful choice.
