This stay was the most disappointing part of my entire European trip. If you book a room here, I strongly suggest you check the door lock carefully every day and before leaving the room. We only found out on our last night that the door lock of our room had been broken the whole time. We had repeatedly checked and asked the front‑desk staff member Emilio about the door issue every single night during our stay. But he did nothing to fix it, only saying he could not help with the broken lock. It was not until our final night that another staff member told us the lock was faulty and repaired it. We were lucky to be safe during these three nights. If someone had opened our room door at any time, the consequences would have been unthinkable. Emilio’s irresponsible attitude and the hotel’s negligence in handling a critical safety problem are totally unacceptable.

Stunning hotel in a very central, yet quite quiet location, a little off the main road. Really nice decor with captivating huge posters. Very comfy! Free coffee and water. Very helpful and friendly stuff. Brilliant terrace, which unfortunately we didn't have time to utilise but seems like a lovely persepctive after long sightseeing walk.
One quite slow lift. Breakfast selection was ok, but in this kind of hotel, you would expect for the warm dishes to be actually warm. Tortilla patata completely cold, like taken straight from the fridge.
