The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and in a great location. The breakfast offered at the hotel was delicious and afforded us a great start to our day. I would definitely stay here again!
The windows didn't have screens. This may be something common in Spain.

The hotel has been totally renovated and cleverly incorporated the Roman remains in its design. The front desk staff, particularly Sergio, were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had an excellent variety of European breakfast choices.

The staff were exceptional! Everyone was kind, friendly, helpful and warm. I was traveling with my sister and niece for Primavera Sound. We had a triple in the new part of the hotel and there was plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable and they had excellent black out curtains which were needed since we were sleeping in. The hotel is cool because it's on roman ruins which they have displayed. The breakfast was phenomenal - one of the best I've had at a hotel. Tons of options for vegetarians.
It is in an excellent location for sightseeing and getting to the festival. The metro is a block away and it was close to a night bus stop. The beach is a 20 minute easy walk. Tons of eating options since it's in the Gothic quarter and next to the Born district.

It gets very noisy at night. You can hear streets' noises until 3 am which disrupt your sleep

We were pleasantly surprised at the hotel. Nice bathroom with good water pressure. The history behind the hotel and the glass walkways were amazing…seeing the actual ruins below the hotel. The breakfast was also very nice.

It actually was better than I expected. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are big and clean with a huge beds. Location is awesome.
The work on the street right in front of the hotel was making it hard for transportation but it's temporary issue and the hotel has nothing to do with that.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel during our family trip to Barcelona. The location was excellent—very convenient for exploring the city’s main attractions while still feeling comfortable and welcoming.
The staff were professional, friendly, and always helpful with any questions or requests. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax after long sightseeing days.
One of the highlights for me was how beautifully the Roman ruins were preserved and displayed within the property. It added such a unique historical character to the hotel and made the experience feel even more special.
Overall, a very enjoyable experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona for both comfort and convenience.

Extremely nice and high value breakfast in very interesting setup with archeological remains integrated in the restaurant food. Excellent touristic location. Very good and engaged reception. Superb bellman!

Great location, helpful staff. Can be a little noisy at night but it is in the middle of a city. Room was spacious with a balcony onto the street. Air-conditioning which was useful at night
