Wonderful
The location was excellent - right in the old original part of the city and walking distance from so many things. Placa Catulunya (a main square) is only a 10 min walk. The staff was very helpful, even helping me hail taxis when apps like 'uber' were not working well. The rooms I found for Europe were very spacious, and clean and comfortable.
Honestly, my stay was very pleasant, can't think of anything I didn't care for.

Hotel location was great - close to the metro, with shops and restaurants nearby. Breakfast spread had both hot and cold options. Room was clean and comfortable.
The main elevators for guests were out of order, and we had to find our own way with the service elevator behind an exit door.

I didn’t like having to pay to check in early. I didn’t ask for it but as offered an early check in. It seems if the room is ready I should be able to get in the room without a charge.

Overall, the double room with a terrace was spacious. The terrace didn't offer much of a view of the city, but it was nice to spend time there. The check-in staff was nice. It's a decent hotel for tourist attractions.
Room 504 had a terrible sewage smell. When we walked into our room during check-in, the toilet seat was down, and there was no scent. Initially, when you walk in, you don't smell it, so they do a "good job" masking the stench. But after hours, especially when the toilet lid is left up, it smells bad. We were gone alllll evening and arrived super late to an unappetizing scent in our room. It was too late to attempt to change rooms, plus we were leaving the next day. My husband told the staff early in the morning, and they told us to file a claim. We mentioned it again at checkout, and no one seemed interested in helping us with the issue. I strongly believe this room should not be occupied. We were better off sleeping outside on the terrace. I will never return to this hotel. For their price, you can find a better spot - you've been warned.

The location was perfect! The staff was kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and nicely updated, the beds comfortable, and it was very quiet in the rooms for good sleeping. The breakfast was delicious.

Got there super early in the morning, and they were very accommodating. Walking distance to the cathedral and many amazing restaurants. I will definitely stay there the next time I'm in Barcelona.

The location was excellent and we really enjoyed being able to open our window and see down the street in the Gothic Quarter. You are really close to a bunch of shops and squares. The bathroom was really nice and the beds were comfortable. I felt like we had enough space in our hotel room as well.
The elevator sometimes didn’t work.

I like the location as it is close to walking distance of many restaurants and sites. The taxi was able to pick us up right at the entrance. We also loved the breakfast buffet ! Also the front desk staff was amazing and so helpful! Loved the seating areas in the lobby.
It was hard to locate with GPS upon arriving. The taxi driver was also lost. And also one of the cleaning ladies came into our room without knocking after the room had been cleaned and nothing else was needed or requested by us. She did not say a word to us and was rather surprised we were in the room at that time.
