clean, friendly staff, helpful, place to dry clothes ,everything in this place is great , restaurant nearby ,nice walkable to sagrada familia, park guille bus station and the cathedral , they allow us to take up our bicycle , they have a clean kitchen with breakfast food free all day long though we did not avail this, quite, has a sign in the main lounge " quite after certain time ' to allow guest to rest , has a sufficient aircon , will stay again
the shower gel dispenser needs to be replaced, it was not working other than that every thing is great especially the staff

Besides the great location, the staff was probably the best thing about the property by far! They were very nice and accommodating and overall always open to help. Rafa, I believe he’s the manager, was awesome! This seems like more than a job for him as he genuinely seems to enjoy being there and also making sure the guests are comfortable and satisfied.
I don’t have much to say here but the only if I am to nitpick and mention something I wasn’t a fan of it would have to be the building only having one (1) elevator. At times, the wait for the elevator was exhausting which resulted in me taking the stairs a few times but overall, nothing bad to say about the actual hostel.

The only real positive for me was the breakfast. They provide the basic items, although you have to prepare everything yourself and wash your own dishes. The late check-in instructions on the first day were also clear.
Unfortunately, there were many problems. I stayed for 2 nights. The staff replied to my WhatsApp messages on the first day, but the following day I contacted them more than 5 times and received no help or response.
The building and facilities are very old and poorly maintained. The lift and doors are extremely noisy. The flooring and sofa/couch looked very worn and badly maintained.
The room was not properly clean, my bed was not clean, and the towels had visible stains. The shower/bathroom was also very dirty, smelly, and had broken tiles and damaged flooring. There was an opening in the shower area that allowed a lot of noise to enter the room.
Most importantly, I found the property very different from the photos shown online. The photos create a much better impression than the actual condition I experienced and, in my opinion, do not accurately represent the property.

I stayed in the double ensuite and it was a wonderful space. It has a private restroom, mini fridge and central ac and a small private balcony space.The room was clean and the bed was comfortable- both of which are super important factors. Carlos and the other hostel workers were very kind.

I love the large toilets and showers, the rooms are appropriately sized for a hostel, beautiful decor in the common areas, and there is a lift! Amazing welcome from the guy in front, was in for chats too. Love there’s free flowing pantry food.

The entire team was friendly and helpful! Great kitchen and the breakfast items are available all day including eggs! Easy to interact with all guest in hostel and everyone was super friendly and helpful. Met people from france, Ireland, Welsh, Brazil and Portugal

Leo had a delicious homemade Brazilian cake and fresh coffee to offer as soon as I put my backpack down! The bolo de fubá and the conversation with Leo was relaxing and healing after such a long trip from Chicago!

It's not in the middle of the action, but it's pretty close to the main plaza, and from there you can get just about anywhere. The breakfast in the morning was a great addition. Only 4 bathrooms (2 showers) for a lot of guests, but they are cleaned daily, which was a plus. And the staff were great.
Nothing really. It's just a shared room, shared bathroom hostel, so keep that in mind.

Amazing little hostel - in a beautiful building, right in the heart of the Eixample area, close to the main shopping street (Passieg de gracia) and Casa Batlo (gaudi house), and all amenities closeby, like bakeries, sandwhich shops, corner shops etc.
Staff were uber friendly, even allowing me to leave my bags after checkout, and come back to take a shower or have any food I wanted for free.
That's exceptional customer service that even top hotels don't offer.
I stayed in a 6-person dorm. The room was a great size, with a massive private drawer, and a place to store luggage.
The bunk beds are the highest quality, with 3 wood panels and a thick curtain for privacy. There is a light and charging port inside each bunk.
The matresses are totally good, not superior standard, but definitely not low standard - they are comfortable and supportive.
The showers had hot water always, everything was clean, there is a lovely terrace out the back to sit with tables should you want to eat there, as well as a dining room to eat your food, and the kitchen is perfect, with free bread, milk, yoghurt, fruit, eggs all day!
I will stay here when I return to barcelona, no doubt.
I am nitpicking here, these are very small things but maybe they will help.
1) I would maybe sell padlocks on the premises for the bunk bed drawers (although, they do sell them in the small corner shops closeby) - but maybe if you arrive late and don't want to go out and buy one, it would be easier to sell them at the hostel.
2) Have a "lights out" rule for a certain time -e.g. 11pm, because some people leave the lights in their bunks on til very late (12-1am), and if they are in a top bunk, it can illuminate the whole room.
3) Explain a bit better where the keypad is to get in late at night - I couldn't find it easily. Maybe put a picture on the website or something, so if you're locked out at night, you can find it (the doorway is dark and the keypad is black and not lit up and is digital so hard to see what it is).

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in so far! The staff is super super friendly, always helpful and eager to give guests the best experience. The place is very clean, and the all-day breakfast is practical—you can just come back tired at the end of the day and make yourself some eggs and bread. You can eat with a cozy view from the terrace. I highly recommend it.
I stayed in an 8-bed room without a secure place for my belongings, so I used a locker in the living area. Apparently, these beds will be changed soon. It didn’t ruin my stay, but I would feel safer if I could use a padlock.
