Breakfast is good. The rooms are clean. The location is central, and the view from the balcony is beautiful. It's great that each bed has a mattress protector. You can use the kitchen however you like. I like it.

This was probably one of the nicest hostels I’ve stayed at. They make sure there facilities are clean, especially the bathrooms where they have a clean janitor who deep cleans them. Also, people are very relaxed in general.
Wish breakfast was a bit earlier but no problem!

The location was really nice, maybe 10-15 minute walk to the Gothic Quarter. The rooms were good. The beds were updated with curtains in the middle of my stay which was great. Toilets felt pretty clean, I think they were cleaned daily if not more.
Some guests were a bit disruptive at night, but generally everyone was very friendly.

Good
Would say maybe location
The staff, very rude, no privacy when in the rooms by the staff (cleaning) issues with hot water and never mentioned it was self serve breakfast which is fine, but need to mention it in the booking! Beds very uncomfortable, room faced the street which in that area guess it’s a party area, you could here all the partying going on at night bathrooms need some maintenance very old building and doesn’t mean the hostel needs to resemble it!

Poor
The staff was cooperative
I noticed that the access door required physical intervention to open, which made initial entry particularly challenging, especially after 6:00 PM. This caused some inconvenience upon arrival.
Additionally, the room I stayed in, number 8, was quite noisy due to its main window facing the road. This disturbed my rest. Moreover, the mattress in the room was uncomfortable as it seemed to sink excessively, failing to support the body adequately.
I also found that the kitchen remained locked until 8:00 AM, which meant it was not possible to have an early morning tea. Lastly, I observed that there was no designated smoking area within the dormitory.

It was very clean and quiet in a good location. We appreciated the well stocked refrigerator and kitchen. While it wasn’t right next to the train station (which we took to Barcelona) nor right next to the bus to the airport. It was still easy walking distance (about 15 minutes) from each of them, so I liked that we didn’t have to purchase any additional metro or bus tickets to get there. Very convenient.
We took an afternoon shower and nap which were good, but it was quite warm at that time of day. Some kind of fan in the room would have been nice.

Pleasant
It had clean beds, it had bathrooms that were clean in the mornings, it offered towels in ok condition. It had pairs the first day, there after only oranges for fruits. Complimentary yoghurts, breads and cereals were nice!
You need multiple codes to get in; it is not clear which door/floor is for the hostel; YOU ARE LOCKED OUT OF THE KITCHEN AT NIGHT - So no access to drinking water or your own food you have stored in the fridge. That was by far the worst. The bathrooms were often dirty in the afternoons. The terrace was locked out at night too- so no outdoor space in the evenings.

I enjoyed it but bunk mates made little attempt to be quiet when coming back late. Staff was excellent.

Heart of the city but quiet. All staff were very friendly and helpful.
Walked past doorway twice before finding necessary entrance. A hidden gem!
