Exceptional hotel, everything was perfect
The Christmas dinner was not as good as expected and there were very few suitable choices for a child. My son and I were also seated right in front of the live performance speaker which made the experience unpleasant for both of us.

This is a classic beautiful hotel, probably one of the best I’ve stayed in! The staff literally couldn’t do enough for you!
Their slow WiFi is the only thing I can find to grumble about. In this day and age absolutely pathetic to have slow to almost non-existent WiFi. Come on people, change the service provider. Fibre should be lightening fast. Also the TV and its whole operation is poor. Cleverly located in a mirror look alike, but functionality is very bad, hopeless remote and ours needed resetting at least twice

From check in service, to check out service and all things in between, it's truly a 5-Star hotel. The concierge service, front door service with greetings to include their daily breakfast service was outstanding. The staff was very courteous and ensured the dining room was stunning as well the service provided to all guests by the hotel staff in the dining room at all times. The entire hotel to include the rooms are spectacular (extremely clean and fresh) and the service provided daily to include your evening (turn-down) service was absolutely superior. My wife and I loved this hotel and enjoyed every minute of our time at El Palace Barcelona. El Palace Barcelona definitely rocks!

I was very happy to have the concierge staff so genuinely helpful answering my questions and offering suggestions when needed. Your staff in general are polished, respectful, yet genuine in presence, versus uncomfortably stuffy or unapproachable.
There was nothing that I didn’t like, except when it was time for me to go home. This hotel has become my preferred place to stay when in Barcelona! Thank you for your gracious welcome upon arrival, and for attending to details of my room request.

Location. Room was good size. People were very good.
Small issue related to charges. My wife requested a pot of tea with two tea bags. Was disappointed to discover charges for two pots of tea. Raised charge at checkout and it was removed. Small issue but worth noting.
