In Plaça del Pi Square, El Jardi is in the heart of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter. All of the air-conditioned rooms include a safe and TV, and most have a private balcony overlooking the square. Disappointing
It was an okay area to stay in but Las Rambla was under construction so getting around was difficult. Construction will be continuing for years.
The shower was tiny. Every time I moved I hit the water turn off lever. I think the whole shower was 24"- 24" and ours had black mold.

Location, staff are nice as well.good sleep.
A long stairs between the ground and the reception without lift. Basic one and will be a bit noisy as it so really in centre. No kettles at rooms not hairdryer . Old fashioned hotel with written registration forms needed

Wonderful location that is in the middle of the Gothic Quarter. A short walk to the Cathedral of Barcelona. Only 3 minutes to the L3 metro, which connects to all the places that we want to go to. Staff are super friendly.
The reception is on the 2nd floor. And the elevator is very small. But those limits are totally understandable. I would definitely choose the hotel again if I come to Barcelona in the future.
