Location was excellent! The bus stop we used often was a block away (Bus #24), and the Metro station at Psg. de Gracia was around the corner. Wonderful shopping within walking distance. Our first assigned room had a courtyard view and was small in size. The AC does not run in the winter & the heat was on and too hot for us so we had to sleep with the windows open the first night. It was VERy noisy with everyone's windows open & we could hear people all night. The next morning we asked to be relocated and later that day we were changed to another room with a beautiful view of the city, and the room was much bigger and nicer. We did not eat the breakfast. The rooftop was so pretty at night. The swimming pool is small with limited seating, but the views are wonderful! I highly recommend this property!
There was nothing that we did not like....except the noise of the courtyard at night. But that was not the hotel's fault. It was the guests being loud with the windows open.

The hotel has an excellent location next to the central Plaza Catalunya. The atmosphere is luxurious, the hygiene is at a high level, the breakfast is superb, the staff is extremely kind and responsive. One of the best places to stay I have visited for such a price.

The staff went above and beyond our expectations, those at the front desk were gracious, helpful; our room was attended to impeccably; the hotel lobby is opulent; we really enjoyed relaxing in the lounge listening to live music one evening.
I cannot think of anything, except to have a room positioned away from the staircase as lobby noise drifts upward which we could hear from our room in the mornings

Beautiful hotel, staff was excellent with restaurant recommendations and reservations, and the live music in the lobby was wonderful
It was difficult to get the temperature in the room correct. Thermostat wasn’t super easy to navigate so our room was a bit warmer then we would have liked

Good location.
There are no "garden view". Its 6sq.m courtyard with wall and windows, so view is others guests windows. Room is dark like in a basement. The same with breakfast buffet, all area with no windows. So we tried not to stay long inside hotel, because its depressing. It seems like it was once a nice hotel, but now what's left of it isn't worth the money. Creaking bed springs, poor-quality renovation. And there is no "sound-proof walls". Guests' actions and talks can be hearded through the walls and windows. Cheap plastic flowers everywhere.

Friendly and helpful staff, great facilities, spacious and comfortable rooms (we stayed in a refurbished room), and nice additional touches like the rooftop terrace and live music in the cocktail bar.
