Great location! Central for main attractions and public transportation options in Barcelona and nearby cities for day trips. Building is nice...Beatles used this facility on their one visit to Barcelona.
Older folks and asked for quiet area. Placed us right next to elevator. Several very disruptive experiences with other (loud) guest at 4am noted to the management. Apology and "they would look into it" was their only response or recompense. Still trying to figure how they determined a minor charge for room items in delayed charge. We did not use anything except for 2 waters we thought were provided free of charge!?

All the staff were courteous and professional. They went out of their way to assist with our needs. We needed special linens for our room which they were able to provide. They were helpful finding cabs for us. I highly recommend the hotel. Thanks for an awesome visit.
I enjoyed everything about the hotel especially the decor. I enjoyed the breakfast in the morning, staff always replenishing the items. The breakfast room was large, bright and festive.

I really appreciated the hotel’s location. It was fantastic and exactly what I was looking for, especially being close to all the shops I wanted to visit.
However, there were quite a few issues. The service didn’t really meet the standard I expected from a four-star hotel. The rooms were not soundproof, making it noisy and hard to sleep. The air conditioning didn’t work properly, so it was always hot, and I had to open the window just to get some relief. In terms of amenities, the room only had enough coffee, milk, and sugar for one person per day with no refills, and there was no kettle, just an espresso machine. As a coffee lover, that was a real problem for me because I do enjoy multiple cups a day. Also, although the room was supposed to have an iron based on the booking details, it wasn’t actually there. And when I asked for an international adapter, the staff just told me to buy one outside the hotel, which isn’t what I’d expect from a hotel of this rating. Overall, while the location was great, the experience didn’t meet my expectations, and I hope they can improve these aspects in the future.

roof top with little pool. modernized room beds, showers lighting was very nice. friendly and helpful staff. good location walkable to many neighborhoods.
lobby could be modernized while still keeping the old feel. fake plants in the inner "courtyard" windows is tacky.
