We stayed for 4 days over new year, and I was a bit surprised not to be able to enjoy a drink and some music at the bar over 31st (being charged 80 e per head simply to reach the bar, for residents, seemed not a very customer friendly attitude)

Got an excellent feeling when we went to this facility and the room that was given to us.
Excellent staff, she even arranged breakfast bags when we were scheduled to leave before breakfast start time.
You have to be careful while taking shower as water might come out.

the most quiet hotel in barcelona! i stayed in many hotels in barcelona and never experienced this quiet room! the location is perfect! so many amazing eateries and cute shops and streets nearby, super nice staff! the bed was comfy too, the rooms have bath tubs, rituals bathroom products (shampoo, handsoap etc), the rooftop is nice too! it's open 24/7 and has a nice view of the marina, it has two smaller pools which could be fun to use but they are not heated (so they are useless in colder months).
it does not feel like a 4* hotel but more like 3* (judging by the rooms), most of the rooms does not have a view unless you fet super lucky and you get room with the view of the marina. I had room on 3rd floor with view into the inside yard and there was no natural light nor view which i think adds a lot to how you feel about your room, the rooms have super basic design but they do have bathrobes and slippers which is a plus!

The staff was super friendly, the hotel was very clean, the breakfast in the morning (although not included) was top notch, and the room was extremely quiet. This is definitely a hotel that puts love into everything they do and it’s more than just a place to stay, it’s an experience. I came to visit my friend who lives in Barcelona and we ended up hanging out at Hotel Duquesa de Cardona for two nights on the rooftop because it was that amazing up there. He even said it’s better than most of the places he knows in Barcelona to hang out! Food at the hotel was also amazing. I got a ceviche and a burger and really enjoyed both of them. When I come back to Barcelona I won’t stay anywhere else. This will be my go to from now on.

Very good breakfast, even sparkling wine was offered. The location is ideal if you want to explore Barcelona. Right next to the old town and the port, close to public transport, metro. A very short walk to the Maritime Museum, aquarium, port, main street, etc.
The beds were wide and very comfortable, in addition to the shower there was also a bathtub in the room. Even toothbrushes were in the room. Coffee and tea making facilities, children got candy from the reception if they wanted, the staff was very friendly. We felt very welcome. Next time we would choose the same hotel. Beautiful view of the port.
unfortunately the roof terrace was closed (we visited in January).
