We stayed here for 2 nights prior to a cruise. The breakfast options were good and everything was delicious with plenty of gluten free options. The staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast room was beautiful and well set out. The hotel is set in a great location with fantastic views from the rooftop bar. We also had lunch and dinner here and the food was amazing. They also let us return to the hotel and store our luggage following our cruise.
The only thing that could have been better in mine and my husbands opinion was the bed was too hard and the pillows too soft. However, my young daughter found her bed to be very comfortable.

We stayed at Duquesa De Cardona nine years ago and were delighted with the accommodations. We have been telling all our friends about Duquesa and the also had amazing experiences. This time we stayed for 3 days and the breakfast was fantastic. The staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable.
The only disappointment we had was that the Roof Top bar opened for the season on the day we departed.

Great sound proofing! No noise from outside. A real third bed and not a couch sleeper. Great breakfast buffet. Definitely worth paying upfront for it.
No view in room. The pool is 8x8 and no jacuzzi. Roof restaurant not open.

The property is located across from the harbor in the Gothic District, close to everything, the Hop on Hop Off bus stop is about 2min walk away. Convenient stores , Restaurants, Museums are all in short walking distance.
The hotel itself is made out of two historic buildings that went thru an extensive renovation without given the old charm away. Breakfast is outstanding, the restaurant offers a good mixture of local delicacies at a fair price.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a free room upgrade, which made my stay even more comfortable and special. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and spotless, with all the amenities I could possibly need.
What truly stood out was the exceptional staff. Every team member I interacted with was incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure I felt welcome and taken care of. From check-in to check-out, their warm hospitality made my stay memorable.

The staff members were excellent and the location is close to the port.
It's a bit of a walk to las Ramblas, but not too far.
