The staff were very kind and helpful. The room and toilet were very clean. The location was very safe, quite and close to the center.
The breakfast could have been better. Also, if there were more options for food at the room service it would have been appreciated.

We chose the Intercontinental because we wanted a higher level of service. With one exception, it was exactly that. The room was spacious and quiet and the blackout curtains ensured a deep sleep. The bathroom was also excellent with separate bath and shower and large sink area. Our dinner on the roof terrace the first night -Saturday- was delicious and we were treated to a superb singer. The pool was small but a welcome relief from the heat and chaises were widely available except for Saturday afternoon. The only snafu was our last morning when we ordered breakfast to our room and room service didn’t get it quite right. We were, however, credited for breakfast at check out. We appreciated that courtesy.

i loved the spacy room and view. Great location. the rooftop views and restaurant were excellent. Service of front desk was very good.
pool is very small and not heated. breakfast over priced. suggest to tell in advance during check-in to make reservation for the rooftop for evening time. also consider adding possibility of snacks/ light breakfast on the rooftop before noon.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the InterContinental Barcelona. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and all the essential amenities are provided. The breakfast buffet is good and offers enough variety, although I would not consider it exceptional. Service was generally very good, though not particularly memorable. We arrived late to the restaurant on our first day, and while some staff members were very helpful, others seemed less welcoming. To be fair, we arrived close to the end of service, so I understand their position. The restaurant supervisor, however, was kind enough to make sure we had the basic items we needed, which we appreciated. Cleanliness was acceptable but could be improved. I noticed some dirt on the carpet in the room, and the in room coffee machine stopped working after the second use. Overall, the hotel delivers a comfortable stay with good service and solid facilities. While there were a few minor issues, I did not have any major complaints and would consider staying here again.

The location was very nice, close to many attractions and in a safe area. The room was comfortable.
The early deposit was a bit too high. The cleaning service could need some improvement, the cups on the cupboard would stay unclean although they were used!

Not able to take food to the room. My son had jet lag and had difficulty making it to breakfast and I was told I couldn’t make him a plate (even though i was on the club level and additionally had paid for breakfast for both of us) and take it to the room
