Location is the best. You are in the heart of Barcelona. We had a cathedral view room which was amazing. We listened to lovely music from the square.

The Lamaro hotel was just perfect. Amazing location, beautifully renovated, larger than typical rooms and very gracious staff. The price was very reasonable and we will return when in Barcelona.

We loved everything about this hotel: the location, breakfast, the beds and especially staff - all wonderful. Ben, from the the reception team assisted us with finding another tour at our specific time slot when our original tour to Montserrat (booked by ourselves) was cancelled.

The location of the property was amazing. Perfectly situated I. The gothic quarter for exploring, walking, taking the metro or a taxi. You couldn’t ask for a better location. The beds were super comfortable and the toiletries smelled amazing.
Our room was very loud, you could hear the hallway, the people alive us and next to us. I had a very shallow sleep despite the super comfy beds and pillows. The toilet ran and the tv didn’t work.

Everything but restaurant. We loved the staff at the desk, especially Raquel! and the doormen/luggage handlers.
Restaurant totally substandard for 5 star hotel. My husband and I stayed 8 nights and nobody bothered to tell us you could order off the breakfast buffet. The buffet was okay except for the precooked scrambled eggs, cold side dishes like waffles or potato cake, etc. Dinners (x2) were passable at best and the staff at one meal was not at all friendly or welcoming.

Location was perfect, central for everywhere we wanted to go. Room was large with pleasant decor. Toiletries provided were excellent. Good quality hairdryer. Very comfortable.

Nothing, the room was bad. The TV was not working and the heating could not be turned off at night due to a technical fault in it. The room became hot and we could not sleep. The room does not contain an iPad and the furniture is very old. How can it be that it is a five-star hotel? We asked to change the room and the receptionist on the second day. Then she said there are two rooms. A room on the sixth floor that you will not like because it is small and not among the criteria for your reservation. I will change your room to the fifth floor. It is beautiful and you will be satisfied. Wait half an hour for it to be ready We waited half an hour, an hour, two hours!! And every time I asked her about the delay, she said the room was not ready to be cleaned. After two hours, the manager named Jack came to tell us that there is only one room on the sixth floor!! There is no vacant room on the fifth floor, knowing that the room on the sixth floor has its drawbacks, which the receptionist spoke about. The manager was arrogant and rude, other than what the receptionist said. We became angry and asked to return the amount for the remaining nights.

Lamaro Hotel location was excellent, the staff are very supportive and welcoming. the hotel is located at the best part of Barcelona, near every thing you think about, many shops, restaurants, coffeeshops and the famous Rambla Del Raval, not far away from seaport and Cruise Ships.
Despite the good location and excellent staff, the hotele is very noisy, not well insulated you can hear the neighbors very clearly and the noise from the yard and church , also there is a very disturbing issue, the bathrooms are smelling very bad due to lack of Odor trap.

The location is perfect in-front of the cathedral and near all the landmarks The stuff are friendly and welcoming
The room was not comfortable The wall are week you can hear all the voices from other room The construction on other buildings sound like it’s inside your room The smell is so bad in the room as well as in the bathroom and there is no ventilation in the bathroom
