From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff set the tone for what turned out to be a truly memorable stay. The doormen greeted us with genuine friendliness, and the reception team were attentive, efficient, and a pleasure to deal with throughout, a real credit to the hotel.
The location is simply outstanding. Waking up to views of Barcelona Cathedral each morning, makes you feel like you're at the very heart of this incredible city. The balcony was great for people watching into the late evening. Taxi rank very close by for easy travel.
Our room was immaculate from start to finish. Housekeeping did a wonderful job keeping everything spotlessly clean, with the room turned down each day without fail. Not a single issue throughout our stay.
Breakfast was good with something for everyone, clearly put together with care. The restaurant was equally impressive in the evenings.
It's already top of our list for every future trip to Barcelona. Highly recommended.

The location is amazing. The hotel is very clean very nice and the staff are so friendly. Wonderful wonderful location. Very nice breakfast overall I would love to come back again to this hotel.

The bed is amazing and so comfortable, and the bathroom is very pretty and well equipped. The shower is very nice too.
Breakfast also 10/10 and the location could not be better
Everything about the hotel stay was amazing. The only thing I would point out is there is construction next to the hotel, which is very loud early in the morning. This is of course not the fault of the hotel

The location is outstanding, situated directly next to Barcelona Cathedral in a beautiful and atmospheric part of the city. Despite being in such a central area, the surroundings felt calm and peaceful, which I greatly appreciated.
The rooftop terrace was a highlight of the stay, offering excellent views and a very pleasant setting. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay and enjoyed the quiet environment and prime location.
I chose not to dine at the hotel restaurant due to the reviews I had read beforehand.
Additionally, I found it somewhat difficult to understand the five-star classification. While the hotel is comfortable and well located, the overall experience did not fully reflect what I would normally expect from a five-star property.

the hotel was located in the gothic region, directly opposite the cathedral across the square , we had a balcony so able to watch daily life / entertainers.
there was nothing about the city or the hotel I didn't like the entire stay was fantastic, lots to visit .. lots of walking with an array of stunning this to see .. and as ever the Spanish nation hospitality is fantastic.

We had a wonderful stay at Lamaro Hotel Barcelona. The location is perfect — right in the heart of the city and within walking distance of major attractions. The rooms are stylish, very clean, quiet, and comfortable.
The staff is friendly and professional, and the overall atmosphere is elegant and welcoming. Great value for money — I would happily stay here again.
Just 2 elevators that also serve visitors to the rooftop observation deck, creating congestion and long waiting times during peak hours

Very nice large room with view of the Cathedral. Excellent Breakfast - both the choice of food and the breakfast room. Great Roof terrace with view onto the Cathedral. Tapas style lunches delicious.
On two mornings - we stayed 5 days - there was NO hot water so cold showers for both of us! A Handyman/ Mechanic Antony investigated at least twice, without success, and only on the day we left did one of the Reception staff tell us that there had been problems with the hot water supply the week before we arrived. We feel we should have been told about that on the first day there was no hot water, and we feel we should have been given some compensation, even if small, for the inconvenience.
