Exceptional
Superb hotel in a splendid site in the centre of Barcelona. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly (especially Oscar!) and the service throughout was faultless. Lovely decor, plus a real treat to visit the roof bar in the evening to watch the visitors in the cathedral square.

Pleasant
Staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast was delicuous Bed was very comfortable and air conditioning worked very well. Oscar helped us get a cab and he was really nice to us and helped immensely
Noise inside the hotel was horrific. We were expecting the noise from outside which was absolutely fine. The problem was every movement from inside the hotel was extremely loud. Smell of sewage from shower drain which was so bad it hit our nostrils everyime we came back to the room. The bathroom was terribly built. Water just runs from the shower into the rest of the bathroom 5 star sevice, 3 star hotel

The location of the hotel and great views. The room was very clean & the bed was comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpful.. The toiletries were also nice.
To be fair a longer visit would have been necessary. I just came off of a cruise ship.

Disappointing
You’re only paying for the rooftop view. You can just walk up. We were staying there and couldn’t get a good spot at night because non guests get same priority as hotel guests.
Thin walls. You can hear elevator, tv, people walking upstairs. Also one night a stench of sewage, they had to pour chemicals in the toilet and sink, which made it hard to sleep at night.i always rate well, but this hotel had to be one of the worst stays.

Beautiful hotel, clean rooms, lovely dining areas and fabulous rooftop bar overlooking the Barcelona Cathedral. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location and easy walking to the marina, Gothic alleyways and shopping areas.
Only small item was there was nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom!! We like to be ecologically minded and reuse our hotel towels!!

It was in a great area
The first room we had was extremely small and dark the second day electricity stopped working, so I had to move room. The second room that I was in the shower did not drain properly in water was all over the bathroom floor leaked all into the room.
