Location is wonderful. Walking distance to Cathedral, Picasso museum and lots of other sites.

I like everything about it, from location to the facility. All is perfect.
I really don’t like the smell of the soaps provided in the bathroom. But it is personal preference. No big deal.

We had a sudio apartment, and I chose Citadines due to its central location - virtually everything you might wish to visit on a short trip is just an easy walk away. I was slightly apprehensive about booking a room in a hotel on the busiest/noisiest street in the city, but, having read other reviews, when booking, I asked for (and was allocated) a room on the 8th floor (this is a 9-story building) and am delighted to report that the room was really very quiet at night, despite literally overlooking La Rambla. The views were also fantastic, particularly at sunrise.
The small kitchen was extremely well equipped with literally everything we needed, and there is a large supermarket directly opposite the hotel. The bed was supremely comfy and king-sized, the staff were all extremely welcoming, friendly and professional, and, as many other reviews have noted, the ability to zip down to the lobby to grab free high-quality coffee 24 hrs a day was a real boon!
We visited in Jan, so the roof terrace was completely empty on the two occasions that we went up there - nice to be able to look out across the city at night.

The rooms suffer from poor sound insulation, as there was constant noise from the street throughout the night, which made sleeping very difficult and uncomfortable.

The hotel is dated, but the location makes up for the staff (Tony).

This is a great place to stay for many reasons. We loved the staff and a 24/7 reception desk. The space was large, well positioned in the city and convenient to resturarants and shops as well as attractions. Everything was great exceept no streaming for the TV's and the bed was too hard. Otherwise this is an excelent facility. I'd stay here again.

We loved the location, right on Las Ramblas near the Boqueria.
The room was super comfortable, the bed was great,
Good closets, ample room.
The bathroom was spacious with good shower.

Excellent location right off La Rambla, making it easy to walk to major attractions, restaurants, and shops. The room was clean, modern, and spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was a comfortable and convenient stay for a short visit.
Because of the central location, there was some street noise at night, and the stay felt a bit pricey for just one night. Otherwise, no major issues.
