Location is very convenient, right in the middle of La Ramblas, next to a metro stop. It's also near the A-1 airport bus. There is a well stocked grocery store right across the street.
The view from my 6th floor studio was basically the back of another building and some narrow alley beneath. It would have been nice to have a different view from the wide window.

The view from our studio room on the 8th floor was wonderful. And the rooftop a special treat. Having espresso in the lobby was great and a small full kitchen in the room excellent. The electric tea kettle, fridge and microwave were great to have.
We had an initial set of very unfortunate interactions with the male staff at the front desk getting our room settled. It was messed up from what we set up in the morning and they were not working to fix things until the female manager stepped in to fix it. She was wonderful and turned it all around. Our thanks to her.

“Amazing stay! The location of the hotel is excellent. This is my second time staying here, and I had also visited their Paris branch before. There’s free coffee in the lobby, and the studio is very well-equipped, perfect for families. The staff are friendly and the hotel’s position couldn’t be better. We walked to the beach every day, and also to all the attractions around Plaça de Catalunya. During this two-day trip, we didn’t need to take a taxi or even the metro once. Highly recommended for families!”

Even though the hotel was in a very busy, touristy area, it was very quiet. The roof deck was an added bonus to enjoy an evening drink looking over the city. Added bonus was the laundry room!
Did not like that air conditioning could not be lowered below 22 Celsius- was a bit warm for us at night

Loved the roof top yard. The swings but the roof top should stay open at least until 10 pm and open in the early mornings so you can enjoy your coffee up there. Loved the coffee machine!!! The receptionist helped us out twice while we were there and very friendly especially our first time being in Europe!
Small elevators and that you had to pay for breakfast as you pay enough for the room.

Would highly recommend this motel. Very central location, not far at all from the train station and walking distance to attractions. Staff were very welcoming and vibrant. Laundry on site which was amazing! Complimentary tea, coffee, ice & sparkling water in the foyer was handy.& a supermarket across the road
