The hotel is relatively new and we were very happy to have a room to the back where it was very quiet so we could leave the window open. The breakfast buffet has everything you want in this type of hotel, very good. Staff friendliness is a bit variable, some, mostly the ladies, are extremly nice and helpful, others are a bit of the type " dont bother me" Overall we enjoyed the stay and can recommend the hotel. Metro Station is right next door to get to the nice parts of Barcelona.
The direct area is not the best for visiting Barcelona. But you can take metro easily so this is not a problem.

The staff were amazing and the hotel itself is clean and amazing.
The hotel room didnt have a kettle or facilities to make tea or coffee which was quite an inconvenience. There also was no iron in the room which is usually a standard but I think there were services pay for the iron which seems silly as we ourselves could iron it if in the room. The room check in time is stated as 2pm but we had to wait till 2:45 or so as there was a delay in clean rooms. It was alright as we head to lunch after leaving our lugagages but we would have liked to freshen up first.

My only real complaint is that the air conditioning was supposed to be working and it really was not. It was unseasonably warm so I just opened the door/window and kept it open during most of the stay. I would definitely stay there again!
