Exceptional
It was ten -fifteen minutes to walk Sagrada Familia and had pretty helpfull staff. The room was clean . We liked it .
There was not a lot to do in neighborhood.

The room was cleaned daily. Very rare to see this.
The fact that on the booking reservation it was nothing mentioned that we will be charged 140euros. Eventhough the reservation said no pay in advance.

Amazing location. 5 min walk from the metro that takes you to the airport also to the one that takes you to the city center. The staff was helpful and ready to accommodate you right away.

It’s on a good location, and it’s clean. We had a welcome drink, which is really nice.
The housekeepers were really loud in the morning, and that woke us up. In the room, there should’ve been some slippers since it is a hotel room. They also didn’t have a toilet brush in the bathroom, which is a necessity.

Good breakfast at the albeniz hotel
Upon checking in I was informed my room was not available due to some problems they had on the floor I was supposed to stay and was transferred to another hotel within the Catalonia chain a few meters away. I was then given a twin bed room when I had specifically booked a double room. Also, upon getting to the room, works resulting in a loud noise were being carried out in an adjacent room in the middle of the afternoon…

I had left my converter from US to EU electricity at home. The woman at the desk graciously offered me one that I could use during my stay. She took €10 as a down payment and returned all of it when I returned the converter. They were very gracious about giving me directions to restaurants and other locations
The cash exchange machine charged 13%. That is highway robbery. But the desk could not offer me a better deal.

The staff members were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious! The area felt safe and was close to some important landmarks in Barcelona. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family!

Room and hotel feels a bit dated but our room was large. The bathroom water pressure was nice but and the towels were amazing.
I wish it would feel warmer in the room when we checked in. The thermostat worked great but the room was cold as we walked in. Staff at night was not as accomodating as the staff in the morning. Also, our room had no outlets next to the night stands and there wasn't many in the room as well.

Location is ideal for tourists.
Starting to age, particularly the bathrooms. Needs a refresh.
You have to pay for everything, including water.
Very noisy central heating. You have to choose between keeping warm and sleeping with a noisy vent or cold and some quiet.

The location of the hotel is great. The rooms are relatively spacious and modern. Overall, good value for money.
The paid parking spaces are extremely small and crowded. Also, they are 1 min away by foot from the hotel, so make sure to leave your luggages first at the hotel, and then park the car.
