Location
Where to start: broken thermostat or according to the hotel all the rooms are set at 23 celsius heat in winter and cannot be lowered. Which is weird cause it can cause suffocation and heat stroke. Their solution is to open a window for outside air to come in or turn off thermostat - but cannot control the temperature. Poor check in experience, hotel is undergoing renovation, flooring is uneven, stains on sofas and curtains.

Its location is the biggest plus...it is 3 minutes walking from Catalunya Square, most of Barcelona attractions are accessible by foot or by public transportation. There are lot of very good restaurants in its area, especially on the small streets near Las Ramblas.
We staid in a superior triple room - the room is very big and the bathroom is huge (it has shower and bathtub).
Very big and comfortable beds.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Nice terrace at the first floor. I understood there is other one at 6th floor, but I didn't visit it.
I think there are few things that can be improved:
- A hanger, eventually on the hall. Being winter we had to keep our jackets on the chair.
- Gowns and slippers - having a spa, you really need them.
- It was very difficult to keep the bathroom door closed.
- There was no liquid soap in the sink container and it was not refilled for one week.
- Dust on the floor - especially under the bedsides.
- The sofa bed was a little strange - not so comfortable as the other two beds.

There was some hiccups at the check in. The staff gave us wrong information about the room I booked and tried to pursuade us to change to another room. The whole thing took much longer than it needed. It was quite unpleasant.

Overall, our stay was good.
However, there was one very unpleasant incident.
One night, we received a phone call and then loud knocking on our room door, which woke us up. It later turned out to be a mistake.
What was disappointing is that no apology or explanation was given.
This situation was uncomfortable and affected our stay.

I stayed for only one night out of a four-night booking due to an unforeseen change of plans. While everything about the stay itself was fine, what truly stood out was how professionally the hotel handled my booking modification and refund request. The process was exceptionally smooth, and I would like to extend special thanks to Cristina from the reception team, she was fantastic, incredibly understanding, and extremely helpful throughout.

Location is great
I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. I booked a room with three single beds as clearly shown in the Booking description, but the hotel said such a room doesn’t exist. Instead, all their rooms include an uncomfortable sofa bed that no one can sleep on. Because of this, they changed my room three times.
The last room change was due to extremely loud noise late at night. When I complained, I was told that the owner of the hotel was having a party. This is completely unacceptable. Paying guests should not be disturbed just because the owner decides to host a loud event. For a hotel that charges high prices, the level of comfort and service was very poor.
Additionally, two days before my checkout I found an insect on my bed, and only later realized it was a bed bug. This is shocking and raises serious hygiene concerns.
Overall, this hotel is overpriced with very low value, and I would not recommend it based on my experience.

The staff were so helpful and nice. Smooth operating hotel where they don’t let u wait for so long for things to be done. The location was spot on with so much cafes and stores. It was clean and had enough facilities.
Everything you need to pay for a complementary water would have been nice. My credit card got charged for something and i wasn’t told about it even though we paid everything in cash.

the location is ok but the stuff was not good
i didn't like the staff and specially the room service , when my son was very sick and through out in the bathroom i asked them to clean the bathroom and when we came back at night they left me a paper to clean the bathroom myself or i should pay 200 Euro for cleaning , i really never ever see something like this in my whole life
really not good service and very expensive without need
