The hotel is historic and simply beautiful. Staff was lovely, rooms very clean. Food was good, bar staff excellent. It's on a busy road but I barely heard any noise. No elevator waiting, clean public spaces, nice atmosphere. Would return next trip.
I needed to stay an extra night, Booking.com showed 2 rooms available, reception told me there are NO rooms available and that the room would be cancelled at some point if I went ahead through booking.com. My daughter however secured me the extra night through Booking.com and I was offered the chance to check in online by the hotel via email and there was NO cancellation. Therefore, this miscommunication between the hotel availability and booking.com availability was unsettling. If I choose to return I will be wondering if any reservation via Booking.com WILL or WON'T be honored. I am not blaming the reception staff in any way, the problem is clearly a miscommunication between the hotel system and booking.com's system. The reception staff was very nice.

Absolutely loved our stay! The suite with plunge pool on the balcony made it extra special. Edgar at the front desk was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and made sure that we were well taken care of. The rest of the staff was also very friendly and made our stay a great experience.

My room was 2 stories and I have problems with my leg so it was a little difficult to move around.

Hotel is 10 minutes walk to Corte Ingles and Barrio Gotico.We visit Gran Teatro del Liceu saw Opera Aida out of this world.20 minutes walking from the Hotel.Had food at la Boqueria near el Liceu if you like to eat go there.At the moment Las Ramblas is having construction done so that is a shame.We only came up from Sitges for 1 night and had fun,Airport by Taxi 30 minutes with out traffic.

We had a very positive stay overall. The hotel team was attentive, professional and genuinely caring, and the management handled everything during our stay with great care and consideration.
We really appreciated the personal attention and thoughtful service. The room was comfortable, the location was excellent, and the hotel restaurant was also excellent — we really enjoyed the food.
We left with a very good impression of the hotel and would be very happy to stay here again on our next visit to Barcelona.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for several nights. The location is great and is very convenient. Just a few minutes walk away from the gothic quarter and even closer to couple other Gaudí attractions.
The hotel staff is fantastic. Everyone was very courteous, pleasant and helpful. The service was outstanding.
The design and usability of the room’s facility are really not great. I would expect more for this price.
* The sink is in the hallway, it isn’t in the shower room / water closet. There are also no hooks next to it for a towel, just a towel hanger that can fit one small towel folded on itself, integrated to the shelf the sink sits on.
* The door to the shower room and toilet is a glass sliding door that doesn’t provide any sound isolation and can’t be locked.
* There is only one hook in the whole room, in the shower room. So if you have more than let’s say 1 towel to hang… good luck.

There was no noise from the streets and from other rooms.

We had few technical problems. The pool was losing water ends because we were on the seventh floor, hot water took a very long time to reach.
