Staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located, walking distance from trains and busses. There are nice restaurants in the area.
Coffee, tea, milk and water only supplied for the first night. This wasn't communicated.
The hotel is under construction. We do understand that construction is necessary, but we should have been informed prior to the booking. Staying in a hotel during construction should be your choice and not a surprise when you arrive from half way around the world.

I was looking for a place to stay out of the busy historic center of Madrid but well connected to public transport and within a nice neighborhood. This place resulted great, nice neighborhood, quiet, with amazing views toward the city (be sure to select a room with a view). It seems far from center, but is not. Actually, the place is within ten minutes walk from Gracia district, which I loved y enjoyed every time I go to Barcelona, with all the cafés, theaters, local shops and innovative restaurants. The staff and breakfast were splendid, specially Ray, that was so attentive and kind. And the bed, thanks for that! We were so needed of a comfortable one, in order to recover the energy that we lost traveling before in Portugal.
Heating. It was winter, but it was a little too hot for my liking. I prefer to sleep within 20-18 degrees celsius.

I like the location of the hotel. I think it was very accommodated for me and my family. I did like the room and how there were three beds. That was a great addition and also they left candy in the room for my daughter.
Great air conditioner in the room as well!
I think the pool area and the sun beds could’ve been bigger to accommodate more people and I also think the bathroom was a little small

They changed me the hotel the day of the check in at 6pm via email for other Catalonia but I wanted the other one since I had some friends near and it takes 20mins in public transport to get to my friends. Also once i tried to check in they didn't had the other or request sent so i had to wait 40min more (all of these was late at night 11pm), asked for late check out and was denied... simply a night to forget.

I liked that from the moment we were going to drop off our bags due to arriving earlier than Check In time, complementary drinks were offered and we were told that our patience would pay off and it sure did. The room was at the end of the corridor with a great view and cozy space.
I really don't have much to say to this except I would have liked the mattress to be slightly firmer. Nevertheless, the bed was big.

The worst hotel experience I have ever had. The rooms had no soundproofing at all — we could hear everything, including intimate noises from neighboring guests, which was extremely uncomfortable for both me and my 13-year-old daughter. The bed was uncomfortable, the pillows caused neck pain, and instead of proper duvets, there were only old blankets. Every morning there was noise, drilling, and construction work, about which we were not informed in advance. The area around the hotel was neglected and had a bad odor. After 5 days, we were relieved to finally leave. I definitely do not recommend this hotel; it does not match its 4-star rating or the 8.2 score on Booking.com.

Close to location of wedding we attended. Good to have ironing board & iron in the room.
In area with lots of urine smells on the streets and dog poop.
Upon arrival the receptionist informed us that we’d be moved to another one of their hotels because maintenance work was being done at this hotel. We informed them that wouldn’t be acceptable because we chose this hotel due to its vicinity to an event the next day. They then checked us into a room. The question is: one would expect maintenance to be scheduled in advance, so why the last-minute surprise?

I like modern hotels and this one is pretty nice Especially the bathroom. Breakfast and dinner accessible on the property.
The mattress is too firm to sleep. The writing desk was a teeny weeny table not even 2 feet wide. Chairs were there but not comfortable. Noisy at night. Must be thin walls. The hotel was away from the downtown area. No entrance ramp for suitcases and /or wheelchairs. So we had to lift our heavy suitcases ourselves. Thankfully when leaving, someone from the hotel helped us.
