The room was perfect for 3 people - spacious, well appointed and perfectly located within Barcelona. The staff was welcoming and helpful with tips about BCN. Breakfast was delicious.

It was located in a Central Area.
They transferred us to the Hotel Catalonia Catedral at the last minute due to some sort lock issues. The triple bed room that they assigned to us had a musty smell; the pillow cases had pink stains; the bedding made my body itch; the room was dusty; no slippers nor bathrobe were provided; there were only 2 bath towels in the room for 3 guests; the phone in the room wasn’t working so we had to walk to the reception to ask for an extra bath towel. The lady from Hotel Catalonia Magdalenes told me that the Catedral
Hotel is a 4-star hotel but our bedroom felt more like a 2 or 3-star hotel. I was expecting more for the amount I paid for an overnight stay. Not booking this hotel in the future.

The hotel is in a perfect location. Close to a metro station, supermarket, restaurants and shops.
The room was very comfortable, clean and had a nice and big shower.
The hotel staff were very helpful and always received us with a smile.
Will definitely recommend it to my family and friends.
