Very Good
The rooms were spacious. The bathroom had a European bidet and a tub. The breakfast menu had a good selection but the same food options from day-to-day. Location-wise, there were a lot of restaurants, pharmacies, groceries in the area but the nearest metro stations were 400 to 500 meters away on mostly flat, paved sidewalks.
For a 4-star hotel, it felt like it operated on a "budget airline" model where you had piecemeal services added on at a cost (e.g. room upgrade prices were posted at the front desk). We booked 2 rooms - one room have complete toiletries while the other lacked lotion and hair conditioner - appears to be different room tiers. Generally clean but the hairdryers were clogged up with dust bunnies.

Within walking distance to the major landmarks but away from the tourist crowds, safe neighborhood, the room sufficiently met our needs??

Good
The staff was incredibly helpful, guiding us with detailed recommendations on top attractions and the best routes to get there
I did not receive the king-size bed I booked, and the hotel failed to honor my other requests. My room was on a low floor with a window facing a brick wall, resulting in a very disappointing stay

Wonderful
The location was perfect. Very near to the Metro, to Paseig de Gracia and La Sagrada. The room we were eventually given was very good, clean, roomy and well maintained. I must compliment Manager ALBERT RAMIREZ. This would have been a very bad review had it not been for Mr Ramirez. The initial room we were given was NOT what we booed and paid for with little understanding and empathy from the clerk at the front desk. We stuck it out the first night. The next day Mr Ramirez intervened, was very attentive and listened well. He apologized and moved us to another room. To our surprise it was a suite on the top floor with a balcony and terrace. Thanks to Mr Ramirez, he salvaged our visit to Barcelona and made this stay at Catalonia Gracia a memorable one. MR ALBERT RAMIREZ is a manager who understands customer service and is very empathetic!
My initial encounter with the unsympathetic front desk clerk who had a serious attitude.

Todo me gustó. Realmente no encuentro algo que requiera recomendación. Desde la atención del personal al llegar, pasando por el tamaño y estado de la habitación, hasta los desayunos y las zonas comunes. Muy buen hotel en todos los aspectos.
Nada realmente. Todo estuvo dentro de las expectativas.
