Room spacious, staff very helpful.
Concert in plaza outside went until about midnight and was completely audible in room - seemed like there was hardly any soundproofing.

Superb location. Spacious room and bathroom. Friendly staff. The hotel is 2 minutes away from the cathedral but just off the square so not crazy busy. A short walk to buses that take you to the Sagrada Família, beach and Park Güell lots of cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. Bed was huge! An emperor size I think and very comfortable. There’s a kettle, Nespresso machine and mini fridge in the room. You will only get 2 capsules a day so take a supply if you’re big coffee drinkers ( I’m sure reception would give you more if you asked) our room was at the front but noise wasn’t an issue. The hotel is well soundproofed we never heard any other guests from our room. Good water pressure for shower. Staff are super friendly and helpful and very approachable. The pool is quite compact but there are loungers and a bar up there. One of the best city stays I’ve had and the hotel was a large part of that.
I didn’t like the shower. It was in a bath with no grab handles. You have to avoid the plug hole as you step in and out and the controls are set in the middle in the wall. The shower head is at the opposite end. I bashed my elbow every shower!

Breakfast was amazing, hotel was very clean and safe and in a great central location. Staff were polite and friendly
The only thing missing was it didn’t have a gym which wasn’t a major issue and the roof top pool was very cold

The staff was exceptional. Marc was very helpful in expediting a somewhat early checkin and also in making recommendations (with directions) for good local food. Pablo was unbelievable. When checking out for the train station to Madrid, Pablo called for a taxi. That did not work, because of 2 large conventions in the city that day. After trying every alternative, he grabbed both of our checked bags with backpacks on the top, and literally ran to a better location to flag down a cab. He got one driven by a friend and we made it to our train!
Just a personal preference, but the heavy hair dryer that required holding the on button continuously was awkward.

Great location and the staff were all brilliant. . Lovely pool to relax by after a hot day in the city.
Bit disappointed in the dinner menu options. However food was well priced. The clear glass door on the bathroom , with no opaque, or blind option was not great..
