Great location, lovely property, clean and well presented room. And we got an upgrade!
The pool was very cold and no one at the pool bar to collect complimentary drinks/towels for the duration of time we were on the rooftop.

The reception Staff Marco & Carlos were exceptional, very Friendly nothing was too much trouble. everyday they would chat and recommend places to eat. we ate in the hotel on the first night food was very good standard although with great waiters. The room was of a very high standard, The room had coffee machine on check it we had chocolates and a bottle of spring water, very nice touch. The breakfast was exceptional with so much choice. along with omelettes and fried eggs being cooked to order, what made the breakfast so special is that my father is gluten free and the staff said we can cook you gluten free bread specially for you, so each morning they would ask if he wanted the bread. The hotel staff including the cleaners and pool staff are wonderful happy and nothing was too much trouble centrally located to everything. would high recommend it.
We had a triple room the single beds were great but the sofa bed was uncomfortable . maybe they should put a 3rd bed as there is room

Unfortunately Booking.com did not pass on my request for twin beds which meant the hotel very kindly had to sort another room out for us. The staff were very helpful.

Location is perfect. A big room. Receptionist was great, I arrived very late and he was very kind and helpful.
Strange smell in the room! breakfast was not so good. Or I must say, for this price. Hardly staff, so no juice, no eggs. no bread, one coffee machine was working, no clean tables.. anyway if you have enough time in the morning, just wait. Tip: more staff and please be friendly in the morning

This hotel is generally very 'tired'...the room we were in was badly in need of refurbishment. The lifts are very suspect. Definitely not worth the money charged.

Excellent roof top pool.
We booked a room for three expecting at least a single bed for the third person. We didn’t realise it would be a sofa bed.
The key for the door didn’t work throughout our stay. Nearly every time we came back to the hotel, we had to go back to reception and get them to sort the cards.
One man came with a device to check the door, yet still couldn’t get it to work properly. It became annoying that it couldn’t be sorted during our five night stay.

The location is superb. We love gothic quarter and this hotel is located right in the middle of it, only a minute walk (literally) to Barcelona Cathedral. The staff is amazing. Special shout out to Art, the rooftop pool bartender - he's just all out amazing. Our 10 years old always enjoyed the gummy bear treat that Art gave him.
Our initial room has issue with the AC that didn't work. We were there in august and there was heat wave... we couldn't sleep well on the first night due to the heat. They moved us to a different room the next day, and the AC worked better.
