Our dog is a 10yo border collie mix who's 28kg. Upon arrival, we were told the hotel policy is max 20kg dogs. Thankfully, after some discussion with the manager, we were allowed to stay with our dog.
For a €450/night hotel, it was a bit preposterous that we had to pay for water bottles, given that I wouldn't advise drinking from the tap (very strong chlorine smell). We tried the room service on our first night because we arrived late, and it was very underwhelming. A piece of pork that was almost impossible to chew through, and a piece of salmon that wasn't very fresh and drenched in a sweet artificial sauce.. Another thing were the showers, the temperature fluctuated from hot to cold, it was difficult to set it to a good temperature and just enjoy the shower, you had to constantly adjust. The sink got clogged, and while I could have called reception to come fix it, it was late at night so I didn't want to wake my wife and baby so I unclogged it myself, and I pulled out the most disgusting pile of smudgy hair from underneath the sink. Obvious it hadn't been cleaned in years... Overall, just not what you'd expect from a €450+/night hotel, very underwhelming to say the least.

Impressive bar area at the front of the hotel. The room was very nice. Staff very welcoming. Perfect location for exploring Barcelona.
The bathroom could get uncomfortably warm even when shower not in use. There would be an occasional strong smell that would enter the room via the air conditioning unit.
