Exceptional
I had the best room with a small balcony and a view on a Sagrada Familia. Location is very good due to the fact that the metro and mercadona are just next to the hotel and it takes only 15min on foot to get to the Sagrada Familia. For the breakfast you can find whatever you want and the food was just finger licking good.
I didn't like that terrace opens only at 9am and I didn't have a chance to enjoy a dawn

Convenient place reaching the city center and the beach, tube stations in the reach of few minutes. Wonderfull view to the city from the roof top. Breakfast exceeded expectations - Outstanding! (variety, fresh juice).
If the pool (roof top) is available during colder season(we've been in November), then heated pool would be big advantage.

bathroom was great - spacious, pretty and practical, large mirrors, excellent lighting
bed was fabulous so I slept better than anywhere
user friendly safe
ease in controlling of light/fresh air from windows
though well kept, the hotel left a rather impersonal impression
small details: water container in the lobby was empty; the cleaner couldn´t get me a vase for my flowers; too few shelves for clothes and stuff
the reception staff helped when I needed advice but were generally very "absent" - did not greet or speak to me or ask anything during my 8-day stay, only the guard in front of the elevator reacted when I passed by

Disappointing
The rooftop has a nice view.
I feel it extremely over price for the services that offer.
Maybe I'm not the target for it. I took the economic room, and it was just ok, even if it was 90 euros per night.
If you don't have it included breakfast is 18euros. Common areas are not very spacious

Our room was so small. Barely enough room to make it around the full sized bed. The bathroom was so poorly lit that it was a struggle getting ready or putting on makeup

Because of we late 1 hour the hotel canceled our booking and me and my family slept in car. It was my awful experience of Catolina hotel unfortunately

Very clean, people were very nice, and they had our room ready before the check in hours and hold up our luggages the last day! Near the metro and bus station. I recommend!

Big building. Lots of people. Very friendly man at the entrance. Good location. Vending machines in hall.
No toilet brush. Towels only for adults. No even a kettle in the room.

I like the facilities - especially the pool deck area.
My room had 2 single beds. The mattresses on the edges were not firm. Felt a little bit like you could roll off the bed if you were too close to the edge.

Wonderful
Great location for my purpose, 3 min walk to El Clot train station. Rooftop pool with amazing pool. The spacious is small but an incredible value at €15/hour and the massage(extra) was fantastic. The staff here was exceptional. The restaurant was very tasty and they offered roomservice.
Our AC was having issues. They were responsive, but it never really got right.

Excellent location
It rained and yellowish water poured from the light fixtures in the bathroom ceiling, soaking the floor and towels. As we had arrived past midnight and were exhausted, we just went straight to bed. In the morning, at checkout, the front desk took note of the problem but did not offer any redress. A partial refund at least, should be offered under such conditions.

Location, staff, facilities all good
The room cleaning are not that thorough. We arrived and immediately felt sand in the ground, some hair, too. The cleaning lady came and cleaned but still not so clean, I think it’s probably the tools (vacuum) are old.
