Quaint, very clean, simple and tasteful. Great location, safe entryways. Ample hangers and thoughtfully placed shelves in rooms which had high ceilings. 24/7 pantry with lounge area, cutlery, clean bins, vending machine and tea. We had direct access to the roof garden too. Good quality beds and sheets. House slippers provided. The hot water in the showers came on instantly. Great use of narrow spaces. High quality cleaning. Good communication from manager Alex.

Clean and in a great location to walk around town! Bed was nice and comfortable. Noise was not bad even sitting on the street side of the building. Place was clean.
Room was very hot. Could not drop the temp below 20 degree Celsius. It felt so much hotter than 20 degrees! Was told it was city law. They did drop it on last night but did not change the temp in the room. Hence we did not sleep much for the three nights. No coffee in the room or available, unless you bought the breakfast package. Had to go to local coffee shop to get coffee. Very disappointed with the accommodations.

Casa Mathilda was the ideal location and very low-key. Felt more like an Airbnb than a hotel which was actually what we were looking for so it was perfect! There is a lift which is helpful for groceries, etc. and the building is absolutely gorgeous! The staff was very friendly during our whole stay, the property was clean, and they let us check in early and leave our bags when needed!

Very nice hotel with good location close to Park Guell and Sagrada Familia.
We got a warm greeting and tour around the place.
Rooms were clean and very quiet. Beds very comfortable.
Theres a common lobby with coffee machine and filtered drinking water. The balcony is also very nice.

I shared the room with my daughter and had plenty of room. Very stylish, very comfortable. We were visiting the area in Barcelona the following day and this hotel was perfectly situated. We had reached the hotel near 02.00am (BA flight was late and our booked taxi did not turned up), and were grateful for the lovely choice of breakfast available. The whole hotel was in such an amazing old building and very stylishly renovated and decorated. I will stay again and my daughter is going back with her husband next year.
Nothing, it was a dream of a place.
