The property was vey unusual and blended old with new.
The room was very small and the lighting was very bright with only ceiling lights. This made the room much too bright. Dimmer switches would help.

The space is beautiful and the location is perfect on a wonderful plaza in Cadiz. The check in process was easy and the communication with the owner was perfect. We stayed here with our grandson and we enjoyed the space tremendously. The apartment felt like home and was beautifully appointed. The building the apartment is in is the perfect blend of charm with modern touches. We will absolutely stay here again when we return to Cadiz.

Incredibly nice location in the Gothic District .. The hotel is a hidden gem, you won´t see the entrance right away until you stand right in front. They did an amazing job embedding this modern hotel into an ancient building; amazing staff , super helpful. This is not a party hotel, this is a spot to slow down and relax
really nothing to improve.. if you want to get an exceptional hotel, you have to accept the exceptional prices

The staff were exceptionally pleasant, professional, and helpful in every way and spoke perfectly fluent English with great recommendations. The location in the Gothic Quarter is super convenient, with many small shops and top rated restaurants located very close in the safe neighborhood, and the hotel doors remained secure 24/7 with keycard access after hours and round-the-clock staff. The rooms were spotlessly clean, amenities updated, and design was authentic to the online photos. The rooftop pool was a vip secluded hang out spot which is perfect for small groups or couples. Absolutely worth the money for this great property!
Impossible to control, but there was loud partying in the street at all hours, which happens all over the city.

The hotel is very beautiful and historic, with a balcony that overlooks a lively town square. The neighborhood (Gothic district) is very charming and full of things to see, do, and eat. We didn't take advantage of the pool or restaurant in the hotel, but the space itself was beautiful and the staff was very kind and helpful.
The only negative thing I have to say (and this is probably true for the entire Gothic district) is how difficult it is to get to and from via car. The easiest way out of the quarter is to ask the front desk associates to order a taxi if you need it. But it's an easy problem to navigate and we'd absolutely stay here again!

the first room was a little cozy but we were only there overnight. The second room was spacious with a larger bed and a terrace. The room was in great shape, the staff went beyond expectations to help with vast quantities of luggage and the location was ideal.

Fabulous hotel! Beautiful finishes and amenities. The staff was very kind and helpful.
It’s right in the Gothic Quarter near lots of nightlife so if you want a quiet not, it may not be your space. We didn’t mind at all!

Awesome property in a great location. Beautiful room with all the comforts of home. Comfy bed. Great shower. The view of Plaça George Orwell was beautiful. The room was quiet. Staff were amazing.
A small complaint was that the water in the bathroom smelt when we first arrived. With use it went away. We never felt the bathroom was unclean or anything, just maybe the bathroom hadn't been used in a while—who knows. The TV had limited channels, but we weren't there to watch TV. If you care maybe bring a computer and an HDMI. The location was difficult for Ubers to find. We had to walk to Plaça Sant Miquel for pick up and drop off. The front desk was able to call taxis directly to the hotel though.

The hotel pool is nice for a quick dip. The connecting rooms for families is really nice and the complimentary mini bar drinks and snacks were very welcome- I wish all hotels offered that.
The buffet breakfast had great variety but it is overpriced.

The pool was great to have (although modest in size). The small sofa beds were great for our kids although we were a little nervous with the windows without any kind of guardrail.

The location, the staff and the facilites at the Aparthotel Arai were excellent.
Our room was on the second floor and from 2am-5.30/6.00am it was SO noisy from the street. People going home from the bars, yelling, and bottles smashing. It was pretty bad.
