Excellent restaurant and hotel staff. Near everything ! Just couple of minutes from Gaudi house.
This was our second stay in this hotel, but because of room, it was not so good as first one. Actually they have two buildings- if you have room in first building (corner building) it will be ok. Second building rooms are less fancy - not bad, but definitely not the same.

The rooms were of a good size, providing ample space for comfort and relaxation. They were modern in design, which added to the overall appeal. The rooms were also very quiet, ensuring a peaceful stay. The addition of proper blackout curtains was a thoughtful touch, allowing for uninterrupted sleep. The breakfast provided by the hotel was so nice. It offered a wide variety of options, all of which were delicious and well-prepared.
The most distressing issue was the discovery of a bedbug in one of our rooms. We had booked three rooms, and it was shocking to find that one of them was infested. This raises serious concerns about the hotels cleanliness and hygiene standards. Another disappointment was the closure of the rooftop bar, which was one of the attractions we were looking forward to. The hotel did not provide any notice about this when we made our booking, which was quite unprofessional. To add to the list of disappointments, the spa facilities were under repair. I had been looking forward to using the spa, and it was frustrating to find it unavailable.

The hotel boasts a great location, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. Its proximity to local attractions, shopping districts, and culinary hotspots added a layer of convenience to our stay.
I recently had the opportunity to stay at this hotel and, unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. The most shocking issue was the presence of a bedbug in one of our rooms. We had booked three rooms in total, and to discover that one of them was infested with bedbugs was truly distressing. This is a serious concern that speaks to the cleanliness and maintenance standards of the hotel. We raised the issue the first night but no one chased that until checkout that we raised it again and they only said you're wrong and please don't leave review. Couple hours after checkout they emailed and said we have checked the room and there is no bedbug!! Additionally, one of the key attractions of the hotel, the rooftop bar, was closed during our stay. What was more disappointing was the lack of any prior notice from the hotel when we made our booking. This lack of communication was not appreciated and significantly impacted our overall experience.

It exceeded my expectations in every aspect . Everyone was super polite , facilities were great, located in the best part of the town where you can enjoy everything equidistantly and breakfast was one of the best I had in a hotel. Lastly the price for all that was very reasonable , I would have expected to cost more for all that or not to be as good as it was for that cost. There is no other place I'd stay in barcelona when I visit again .

This is our second time staying at Almanac Barcelona. Rooms are bright and are a good size. The beds were comfortable. Location is very good and the staff are helpful. We enjoy staying in this neighborhood because there is good shopping and good restaurants nearby and it's easy to get around. I like the decor of the hotel. Try to reserve a room on a high floor with balcony and a view of the street. It is very nice and not noisy at all.
The rooms could do with a bit of a refresh. The room rates are very expensive. My family stayed at the Almanac a few days before leaving for the countryside to attend a wedding. We decided to come back to Barcelona after the wedding to spend a few more days. However, the room prices increased so much we decided to switch to another hotel for our last few days in the city.
