Cleanliness, food, staff, room
The nasty shock of having my payment refunded without prior knowledge /notification then having to stump up the cash from credit card, then waiting for the refund to come up via the debit card I used to pay it. Financial uncertainty not what I wanted. Infuriating and not a great welcome to the hotel after a long journey.

The staff are really lovely. The pools fab. My room a junior suite and views are fantastic. Both times I've stayed this year, I have been upgraded from a double to a Junior Suite, so feel very lucky!

Really lovely hotel, reception and concierge were so helpful with all our needs including letting us borrow a parasol for the beach.
Also a very good location with a short walk to the sandy beach and good restaurants.
Being picky - as a 5* hotel we would have expected water to be provided each day in the room and around the pool.
Also it was quite difficult in the early evenings to get drinks by the pool, I think more staff walking around the loungers may help.

The hotel and staff were very welcoming and nothing to much trouble. The pool waiter service was excellent, food was very good and no lounger reserving worked OK
Only downside is the location is a little out of the where we normally stay, and the hill so if you don't like heights asked for a garden room

The pools, the style, the view

The pool area is nice and well maintained. The hotel has underground parking with a free charging station available and 4 other paid stations. The hotel is overall clean, with big rooms and the staff is super nice and helpful. Our room had seaside view and balcony, so we could see some amazing sunsets right from our balcony.
The food is generally pretty bad or at most average. That is especially the case for breakfast, the pool restaurant and the Night & Grill restaurant. The Night & Fish restaurant is a bit better.
