I tried to use the landline phone to call the receptionist and it didn’t work.. i walked to the receptionist and told him so he said the landline is available in the morning.. i tried to use it in the morning and also didn’t work.
The reservation process for dinner is too much work
I think it should be computerized or just by calling in the phone rather than waiting in line for a specific office to book.
The receptionist would do a million things in the same time you speaking to him and decides that the conversation is over rather than continuing to answer your questions.

This is a follow-up to my previous review. Overall, everything is good, nothing to add. I will gladly come back.
Just two tips:
The ATM near the reception can be used to exchange currency, but please pay attention to the commission. Here is what I got:
- If you exchange 20 USD, the commission is 1.80 EGP
- If you exchange 20 EUR, the commission is 7.80 EGP
The second tip is to use the InDrive application for taxis.
One more thing — the internet quality really needs to be addressed. I had to use my own connection because of constant connection failures.

My stay was really bad .. we stayed 2 nights here and we supposed to stay 4 nights .. but we checked out after 2 days .. every thing was poor from service to internet .. and we had a bad experience. Even the animation team . One of them were very pushy and insisted on us to pay a deposit to go night club after party and we told her before that we don’t want to go but she insisted. Very pushy .. don’t believe the all inclusive words it’s just to get customers but honestly I will never book there again and I don’t recommend it to any one .. check. Other options before u book there .. it was a big mistake

Everything was just great.
Since we just arrived, everyone is smiling and promising to make our stay just perfect. Mr. Ahmed Ismail, The Reception Manager had really exceeded all expectations. From a very quick check in, rooms upgrade, Sea view rooms, two dinner reservations at two different restaurants among the hotel facilities and are included under the All-Inclusive deal.
Food was just perfect.
Heated pool.
Bars that offer snacks and drinks almost everywhere and some lasts till 5:00am in the morning, so no chance of being hungry at all :)
Golf carts can take you around the hotel facilities which is quite big.
Very nice Aqua Park.
Beach is great and guards are there, they offer free life jackets & water glasses.
We will sure come back again.

Room and pool was good.
Due to unattended gardening, a palm tree collapsed in wind. Tree got broken in half and falled down. I was injured from head during this accident. Local cilinic attened to severly injured other guest. I was attened poorly by doctor and hotel staff. Tree stood at fallen location for at least 3 days. I believe other trees may experience same results.

absolutely loved this resort, it was modern, stylish, clean, fun filled with lots of activities and provided just the relaxation vibes we needed. The food was great, entertainment, staff were so friendly and it was just a beautiful setting.
theres shops on site as well as a spa and salon with a pharmacy right next door. it really has everything you could possibly need. On site beach front and water slides, lots of food huts to chose from.
the rooms are awesome, so spacious, clean and modern with digital 'do not disturb' 'make up room' options outside the door. daily water and snacks delivered to the rooms and a fruit welcome basket on arrival. theres evening entertainment also, outside seating areas for shisha and drinks.
overall a place you can book with confidence, you wont be disappointed and id go back.
just a FYI theres only one heated pool in the winter months but its really doesnt take away anything as the main heated pool is perfect with bar.

It was relaxing and comfortable, and the food was good. The staff were friendly.
The one thing we didn't like was that a lot of the guests smoke, so even when we were at the beach we often had people smoking near us.

Very good choice to have a no fuss but relaxed and lay back holiday.
Nice renovated rooms around the gardens and the pools and i think renovation is ongoing in the seaview rooms.
The main lobby and the main restaurant is a bit dated but still ok.
The meal was average or above average, large selection, we everytime found something nice to eat. At some bars you can have imported alcholol as well.
We tried two ala carte restaurants during our stay. The italian one was nothing special, the sea food one was great.
Cleaning in the room was perfect, cleaning at the beach area need to be improved (in the morning we found trash from previous day around the beds and umbrellas). But overall very good time spent in the hotel. Thank you again. Hope to return next year.

We have superior room, big, light and new. Very tasty food: a lot of fruits (oranges, guava, melons, dates, strawberry), vegetables, good different type of meat. Fresh juices (mango, orange) for breakfast. Imported alcohol in some bars, it’s nice to drink good gin tonic in the evening. During the day also not bad cocktails in beach bars. Free hookah in the evening. Show everyday. Good animation. Very big warm swimpool. 2 small beaches and pier on the beach with a convenient descent.

The rooms were very pretty and well-equipped. Also, the environment around the swimming pools and beach was beautiful and relaxing. Exactly as you can imagine in the resort.
The reefs, swimming pools, and toboggans provided a lot of interesting free-time activities.
There were a lot of opportunities for consumption. At any time you could get food or drinks, if you knew where to find them.
The staff was mostly nice and helpful. They were trying to help except for a few occasions when the question was outside of their competence (e.g. How does PlayStation work).
WiFi was barely functional; you could send plain text messages and emails, but that's it.
The food and beverages were focused on quantity instead of quality. Even though abundant, drinks like coffee, beer, and wine were below mediocre and certain types of food, such as butter and scrambled eggs, were mostly placeholders for real food. It was especially apparent in à la carte restaurants, where e.g. caprese was made of leaf lettuce instead of basil, big tomatoes instead of cherry tomatoes, etc., but surprisingly good buffalo mozzarella. Instead of parmesan, there was always some cheap local cheese (tasted like sliced cheese). When we asked for olive oil (which I would expect to be on the table automatically), they brought us some very pale oil in a bowl, with a very bland taste, presumably frying oil. When we said it's not olive oil, they insisted it was, but then managed to bring the real one.
As for facilities related to free time, they were often broken or in bad condition (e.g. table football or hockey), so mostly you had to resort to the beach, the pool, and cheap drinks.

We loved Amphoras Beach Hotel! Staff was very friendly and helpful, they gave us perfect room with pool view and partly Sea view! We are 9-th time in Sharm and one of the best hotels in our preference list,,, Green and not very big, good quality of service and very tasty food ? we will come back definitely in next year!
