The hotel mangments asked for extra charge 120$ they claim that because different nationalities than egyptian !!
Thats not my first visit to the pickalbatros hotels , i almost gone for all , speceifcly this hotel charge us more money despite i paid all the reservation before i come to the hotel , i sended messages to the mangment to understand the situation but they dont answer ,
Staff 85% helpfully , others they dont look at you if u need something , like around the pool area

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel, and what truly made the experience exceptional was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. They always made sure we were comfortable and happy, and whenever there was any concern, they handled it immediately with care and professionalism.
From day one, the hospitality exceeded my expectations. We arrived early, and even though check-in is officially at 2:00 PM, they generously allowed us to have breakfast at 9:00 AM and gave us our room by 11:30 AM—completely free of charge. This level of generosity truly surprised me. I’ve traveled across Europe, Canada, and the USA, and I have never experienced such thoughtful service.
A special thank you to Chef Abdel Naser and Chef Khaled Hamza for the amazing food. The variety was outstanding, and everything was delicious. I was especially impressed to find traditional Egyptian duck—it was absolutely incredible!
I would also like to thank Mr. Ayman and Mr. Ibrahim, as well as the wonderful waiters Moaz, Ibrahim, and Abdel Rahman for their attentive and friendly service. At reception, Mr. Saad Abdel Qadir was very helpful and welcoming.
And of course, the animation team—Gamal and Marco—were so much fun! They kept the atmosphere lively and made sure no one ever felt bored.
Overall, this was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent service, great food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back!

Extremely dissatisfied with our experience from check-in to check-out.
We arrived at 3:00 AM after a long journey with children, and Mr. Yousaf took an unnecessarily long time to check us in. During this process, our son fell on the stairs, and he did not even bother to check on him. Regardless of the hour, basic courtesy and concern for guests should be expected.
The situation worsened when he began insisting that our booking did not accommodate our family of five, claiming we had entered incorrect ages for our children (17, 13, and 6). We had booked two rooms, clearly listed by the hotel as accommodating 2 adults and 1 child per room — totaling 4 adults and 2 children. Despite this, we were pressured into paying additional charges.
To be specific:
- The hotel charged us USD 1,353.86 on the night of check-in, while also demanding an additional USD 200.
- The receipts provided to us for the two rooms total only USD 1,153.86 (USD 779.64 + USD 374.22).
This discrepancy is concerning and unacceptable, especially given the lack of transparency and the reluctance to provide receipts at checkout.
His tone throughout was condescending, and it felt as though we were being treated with suspicion rather than welcomed as paying guests. Additionally, he repeatedly raised the same points multiple times in a manner that felt unnecessarily persistent and unprofessional. Once a concern is communicated, it should be sufficient — there is no need to repeat it excessively. This came across as badgering rather than assisting.
We were also repeatedly told we had been “upgraded,” yet the room category matched exactly what we had originally booked, making this claim misleading.
Furthermore, we were repeatedly pressured regarding towel cards, being told we would be charged USD 10 per card (for 5 cards). This constant badgering over something so minor felt unnecessary and unprofessional, especially considering we were not even using resort facilities for much of our stay.

I might be biased since this is my fifth visit to this hotel, but I genuinely love the location, the consistent support, the kindness, and the overall attitude I always experience here. The reef is excellent, the facilities are well maintained, and the personnel are exceptionally friendly and supportive. It is also important to mention that I am traveling with my family, which makes the atmosphere and service even more valuable to us. Overall, it has been a truly great winter experience that keeps bringing us back.

After our first stay, I booked another one to prolong the great experience I mentioned earlier. Time flies here, but it feels wonderful to watch the whole family enjoy quality moments together. I highly recommend connected rooms, as they are perfect for larger families, offering both privacy and a sense of togetherness. The rooms are clean and spacious, the local reef and underwater life are fascinating, and we all enjoy snorkeling so much that I am already thinking about extending our stay even further.
