Everything was wonderful during my stay at the hotel, especially the food—it was excellent. I would like to sincerely thank all the staff for their hospitality. A special thanks to Mr. Hussein Sabri, who is truly one of the best receptionists I have ever met. He kindly upgraded my room without any extra charge, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The whole stay was great
Mohamed Gamal in the reception was really helpful and friendly , he offered exceptional service, starting by the room location, free upgrade, and late check out
The hotel has wide diversity, having more than 5 restaurants and 5 pools , most of them are heated.
Just the price , they should consider different rate for non alcoholic all inclusive
The aqua park would have been better if it was close to the beach or the pools

I highly recommend choosing a resort that offers a very clean beach and rooms, along with a high-quality aqua park.
The resort should have professional and friendly staff, provide all-inclusive food and drinks throughout the day, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment in a peaceful destination with no safety concerns.
The food was so delicious that it completely ruined my diet.

The front desk manager Mr. Mohamed as he tried to help and to support my worst situation.
⭐ 1/10 — MISLEADING LISTING | HEALTH & SAFETY RISK | DO NOT BOOK FOR FAMILIES
I booked this hotel for a 4-night all-inclusive family stay (myself, my wife, and my 6-year-old daughter) and paid approximately $800. I checked out after a single night. That should tell you everything.
? MISLEADING PHOTOS
The hotel looks nothing like the photos on Booking.com. The room is visibly outdated, worn, and in urgent need of renovation. Had the listing been accurate, I would never have booked.
? HEALTH & SAFETY INCIDENT — CHILDREN’S POOL
This is the most serious issue. When I took my daughter to the children’s aqua park, I discovered human stool in the pool. I immediately removed her. When I raised this with the Front Desk Manager (Mr. Mohamed), he did not deny it happened. This is an unacceptable health hazard in a facility designated for children.
? UNCLEAN POOLS
The main pool areas were also not maintained to an acceptable hygiene standard.
? OVERCROWDED & EXTREMELY NOISY
The hotel was severely overcrowded. Noise levels in the corridors outside the rooms made rest impossible — even late at night.
? POOR FOOD QUALITY
We visited three different restaurants for dinner. All three delivered poor quality food with low-grade ingredients and weak presentation — far below what an all-inclusive rate at this price point should offer.
I raised all of these issues formally with the front desk. The manager verbally acknowledged the pool incident and the room condition. I then filed a formal complaint with Booking.com and checked out the following morning.
Booking.com refunded the unused nights but refused to compensate for the first night — despite their own representative promising escalation to management if the hotel declined. The hotel declined. The escalation never came.
Avoid this hotel if you are travelling with children. The gap between what is advertised and what is delivered is significant, and the health conditions I witnessed are not acceptable by any standard.

I really loved the heated pool. it was amazing. The food was overall very good, and we always had something to eat each day. Breakfast didn’t have a huge variety, but dinner was great and they changed the options sometimes, which was nice. We didn’t really have lunch since we usually had a late breakfast (food was available most of the times), but I liked that there’s a beach bar with simple options, and the crepe there was really tasty. The room was very spacious, and the reception staff were also excellent and very welcoming.
I didn’t like that the jacuzzi wasn’t working and there was no lifeguard, it felt like the indoor pool area wasn’t well maintained. We also had to keep asking for towels. The rooms are quite old and need renovation, and it was very noisy, we could hear everything from the room above us. Breakfast had very limited variety and was the same every day.

Wonderful
The resort was spotless with perfectly maintained landscape. For the size of the resort and the amount of people that come through the place they do a great job keeping it look good. Great assortment of food and grills for dinner. Spa is also very good and a great value for the money.Service was top notch!
For families this is a wonderful choice with lots of entertainment and even though it was only me and my wife we found numerous quite areas to relax.
The gym is a little small and wifi in the room wasn't great but that's it.

We had a very nice stay at the Pickalbatros. Firstly, I accidentally cancelled my booking and was charged a $450 booking fee. The hotel manager was extremely accommodating and ensured I wasn't charged the fee and our booking was secured. All staff were very helpful and accommodating in the resort. My two kids loved the water park and there are heated pools throughout the resort. The whole resort was very clean and well maintained.
There is one pool that is a little too noisy for us, but others seemed to really enjoy it. There are games, music, etc. Our bunglow was located next to this, so it was a little noisy. The manager very kindly offered to change our room and couldn't have done more to ensure we had a comfortable stay.
