The hotel staff was very nice and the location was good. The resort itself was serene and peaceful and the sister resort on the other side of the road, had a decent water park. The food was ok in the main restaurant as well as the Bamboo a la carte restaurant near us.

he hotel was very clean – pools, rooms, and the whole area were well maintained. The food was relatively varied and of good quality, and the sea was beautiful and clean. However, a big issue came up if you are traveling with a child and you are not from the UK. A company called Holiday Village controls almost all the entertainment, sports activities, and the kids’ club. If you are a UK guest, this hotel is absolutely amazing, but if not, it can become a nightmare for you and your child. Guests are given different wristbands – UK guests get a blue one, most other Europeans get black, and Arab guests get white. Since we had the black wristband, my 7-year-old son,because Normally he doesn't speak English well,was not allowed to join the kids’ club, entertainment, or even activities like football. Even when several children from outside Holiday Village wanted to play football in the evening, the staff would literally turn off the lights on the field. Only after strong insistence from parents and kids did they allow them to play for one hour on one night. This kind of separation between children is very hard to accept and really disappointing. Apart from that, everything else was as expected from a 5-star Egyptian resort. Alcoholic drinks were very limited and cannot be compared to Antalya hotels, but the reception staff specially a nightshade guy named Mahmood,help us a lot to experience a nice welcome to this hotel.housekeeping also were polite, friendly, and did their best.

This was my first time staying at this resort, and it definitely won’t be the last I will be coming back many more times. Everything was excellent starting from the moment we entered the lobby, where we were warmly welcomed with beautiful smiles and a smooth, professional check-in process. I would like to give special thanks to Mr. Mahmoud El-Gohary for his warm welcome and professional attitude. I also want to thank Mr. Ali, as well as Mahmoud Shaaban, Taha, Ahmed, and Diaa at the restaurant. I hope I haven’t forgotten anyone, as every single staff member was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, flavorful, and of high quality. The rooms were great, the furniture was in good condition, and I’d like to thank Mohamed, who was responsible for housekeeping. As for the swimming pools, they were extremely clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The water activities and entertainment were fantastic—my children truly enjoyed them! A big thank you to Abdelhamid at the Aqua Park. All the staff members were very kind and treated everyone equally, regardless of nationality. They always had a smile on their faces and were quick to help with anything we needed. Thank you, Coral Sea Resort, for bringing joy and smiles to my whole family. We will definitely be returning again.

The staff is welcoming and really cares about satisfaction of guests, food variety is great , food and beverages served almost all day. beach is very good. All public areas are clean , rooms are super clean as well

Outstanding

The food was very good with a very good selection. The pools were nice, friendly and attentive staff and the sea had a beautiful view. We would definitely go again.

We visited this hotel last year - 2024 - and had nothing but good things to say. So much so, we extended our trip an extra week while at the property. Unfortunately, in 2025, things have taken a sharp downturn. I’m not sure if it’s just because it’s a ‘Holiday Village’ during our stay, when previously it wasn’t, or it’s something else. What we liked: - Swim-up room is super convenient - Grounds/nature in the hotel complex is beautiful and well kept What we didn’t like: - Variety and quality of food were really bad - including a bout of acute gastroenteritis for one of us. Really bland and repetitive menu, suited to maybe a teenager’s palate. Very limited options for vegetarians and especially vegans. Unless you love soya kofta. - Animation/entertainment is VERY kid-focused. The previous year included interesting performers like singers, saxophonists, guitarists, etc. This year, just violin playing the same 5 songs every night for 30 mins. Other than that, if you’re a couple without a kid, you’ll be bored out of your mind come evening time. - Cleaning staff were kinda pushy about giving tips, even when we had literally just arrived. The tips also don’t give you anything more than standard room cleaning - if you’re expecting those cool towel designs or flowers, you’ll be dissatisfied. - Nor applicable for all - but we had a free airport transfer by Booking, and the driver was doing 160kph into roundabouts. All the taxi’s in SSH are a gamble, but this one in particular was straight up scary. Dude even hit a curb at 90kph while he was busy texting and driving with one hand and looking at his phone. If you value your life, maybe walk :D - A different point is about the clinic. If you do get sick, try and get to a local clinic if you can and avoid the one in the complex. The staff are amazing there, my thanks to Ahmed and Mustafa, but the cost is insane comparatively.

Exceptional Service, Great location and very clean and tidy hotel and grounds. Lovely food plus great choice of a la carte restaurants.

Staff are so friendly and helpful especially when you have young children. Hotel is so clean including the pool toilets. Always fun activities by the pool and kids club in evening. Small splash pool in hotel and main one oposite. Plenty of sunbeds, ice cream and popcorn available poolside, drinks bought over to you On the sunbeds. House keeping are excellent always cleaning the room, clean beach towels and making displays with towels on the bed for my young child. There are always many options for food, including different restaurants you can book into.

How near it was to the beach and the buggy’s that could take you there people with disabilities walking showers
