Wonderful
Villa Diletta is located in a peaceful location, yet still close to restaurants, public ferry to the other side of Nile, shops etc. The room we rented had a lovely terrace. Host was very polite. Overall, the price-performance rate was great and we enjoyed our stay a lot.
The only minor detail we would suggest improving is the lights in the room, now it was a bit dark.

The apartment was simple, but pleasant and quite spacious. It had everything we needed, with a pretty little garden as well. Mohamed was very helpful and could be contacted easily by phone if we needed anything. He organised a wonderful balloon flight for us and then helped make sure we made it when we had a problem with our alarm! The location was great - quiet, but near lots of cafes and restaurants and the Nile.
One small thing - Mohamed recommended to catch the public ferry to the other side of the Nile. I'm not sure if this is normal, but we were charged a special "foreigner's price" so it ended up being as expensive as a private boat and we had to wait a long time for the ferry to leave. After that, we just went with private boats which were very easy to find and not expensive.
There were also some mosquitos in the apartment at night, but when we told Mohamed he got us a plug in insect repellant device which did the trick.

Exceptional service and a peaceful atmosphere made my stay unforgettable. The owner and manager went above and beyond, and every detail was thoughtfully handled — truly a five-star experience.
Honestly, there wasn’t anything I truly disliked during my stay — everything exceeded expectations. If I had to mention something, it would only be that my time there ended too soon!

The location is really nice, around 5min walk from the public ferry.
The place itself is a little paradise, we had a nice terrace for ourselves.
The apartment is the best we ever had in Egypt, the bathroom is very clean.
Mohamed gave us good advice and good prices for the Luxor tour by taxi (Valley of the Kings/Queens, temple).
Fair price for the area
We booked through Mohamed a felucca ride but the price wasn’t set in advance and we ended up paying more than expected. It was however a nice experience

I am really thankful I stayed here because of the host Mohammed. He was really helpful from the beginning. He helped us with our trips a lot. He organised someone for a fair price in order to visit Valley of the Kings, Medinat Habu and the Hatshepsut Temple in one day. Furthermore, we told him we wanted to go from Luxor to Aswan by boat. We wanted to avoid to go on a cruise because of the price and also because we preferred something not so touristy. So he organised also for us to go to Aswan by sailboat (filucca). It took us two whole days (with one stop at Edfu temple) and one morning to arrive to Aswan. It was for us the best part of our trip because we shared these 3 days with 2 awesome Egyptian people, Ibrahim and Saber. They cooked for us, prepared the sailboat to make us feel comfortable, and most importantly, they shared with us his experiences and moments of their lives with us. They made everything to make us feel as if we were at home. It was very relaxing and richness being there. I enjoyed so much the company and the fact of being travelling on the Nile by a sailboat.
The apartment was really beautiful and big. Also everything was very clean and we could even use the washing machine. Definitely, I would come back here if i come to Luxor again.

Mohamed has a lot of good tips and connections to get around and explore the area, for all kind of adventures and tours, for fair prices. Someone who will not try to make money from you, (as most people in these places, especially in Luxor.).

Great location on the calmer Westside.
Great wifi (we both work online).
Offers transportation from the Eastside for much cheaper than you can get elsewhere with all your luggage.
More spacious than we expected with AC in the bedroom and very big bathroom.
Host is very trustworthy and helpful which I do not expect in Egypt. Actually one of the few people you can really trust.
Offered if we want to go anywhere in a tour etc he’d contact his people to get a price, but also told us no pressure at all, do your research or even book online or with someone else.
Places in Cairo for example would 100% be pushy and scam you here.
We did the hot air balloon ride through him and a Nile sunset ride. Both very fair priced, even at the competitive bottom from prices online. Not exactly sure how it compares to offers on the street, but probably very good too. Plus you go with people you can actually trust without getting scammed.
Also did a valley of the kings plus some more westbank things with a driver and guide through the host.
Nice driver, guide spoke great English, had great information (we overheard some “guides” in places basically pointing out “hey this is a rock”. You get the idea.) This one was worth every dollar. Would 100% book again if we come back to Luxor.

We loved our stay here, full apartment, great shower kitchen and the courtyard of villa diletta is a little slither of peace. Our host Mohammed was the best part he was very kind, interesting and informative. We had some great conversations and he shared his knoedge of the area. He helped us organise some activities but was never pushy.
