This apartment truly made me feel at home. It’s located on the more authentic and budget-friendly side of Luxor, which I personally preferred. The atmosphere is more local, relaxed, and less hectic than the main tourist areas.
I loved taking the inexpensive local ferry across the Nile for a sunset drink, then heading back for a well-priced dinner. It was easy and added to the charm of staying on this side.
Major sites are also very accessible. Valley of the Kings was an easy Uber ride away. For a longer day trip, I hired their driver Said, who is a member of the family, and he took excellent care of me during our visit to Abydos and Dendera Temple Complex. Having someone trustworthy and knowledgeable made the experience smooth and stress-free.
If you’re looking for a comfortable, authentic base in Luxor with great local support, I highly recommend staying here.
I did not like to leave this sacred city.

The location was fantastic. Right by the Nile and just down the street from some great restaurants.
The rooftop balcony was great too
Getting in was a bit difficult. I needed to contact the owner via text to get through the outer gate.

Everything was perfect the place was calm, clean & comfortable.. the Nile view was magnificent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.. We enjoyed our stay so much? Thank you for the amazing hospitality .. we’re really glad we had this experience. Five stars ❤️?

The guesthouse is a beautifully renovated building. Everything was spotless and the apartment looked practically new. We had a lovely room with two balconies, and also checked out the roof terrace which is a great location to watch the balloons go up over the Valley of the Kings at sunrise! The location was fantastic - only 5 minutes walk from the ferry to the East Bank but in a quieter area that was a welcome rest from the busy centre. A lovely stay, thank you very much.

Nice place, calm, clean, nice staff.
5 min by walking to the ferry pier.
No cooker/microwave in the kitchen.
Water goes out of the sink while having shower, then the floor is completely wet.

Bit of confusion initially as the website had advertised a free airport transfer, but apparently this hadn't been conveyed to the owners of Sunny Luxor so they tried to charge us. Managed to sort this out pretty quickly, however.

The location is great on the quieter West Bank. Lots of great food options nearby.
We booked sunny Luxor but ended up being moved next store. The host was abrupt, the front door didn’t lock from the inside and generally the apartment is lacking maintenance (eg door locks to bathrooms, cutlery-plates all chipped and stained)

Very clean apartment with 2 bathrooms great for a family trip to Luxor
A little bit remote, even for West Bank Luxor but only a 10 minute walk to transport. Also, our apartment was great but we didn’t actually end up at Sunny Luxor as they moved us across the street to another building.

The apartment was clean and had a very nice view of the nile. It tends to get hot but it’s okay because you have got AC. The bed was comfortable and it could sleep two adults and a baby! There is a fridge, stove and a water heater. And there is even a shared washer for your clothes at the ground floor.The place is around 5-10 mins easy walk to the public ferry and there is a supermarket nearby owned by an honest guy.
