A wonderful, calm escape away from the bustle and hustle that is Luxor and tourism. Service was lovely and easy. Gorgeous pools!
You kind of have to eat on the resort unless you want to be out and about all day every day. But it's ok.

While having a massage in the spa another unknown guest was brought into the same room for treatment when other rooms were available without my permission and the therapist touched and moved my things without my permission as well including sacred religious items which should not be touched by other people.

Everything was great for a holiday stay with family and the reception lady Lorna helped us a lot in making sure we had a good stay. Perfect stay for families with kids that want a relaxing vacation in Luxor. Will definitely recommend.

love the layout of the property and the size of the rooms that are really spacious . The number and variety of the restaurants was also an awesome positive for the property
the property could use an update , it’s starting to show its age but I can understand the challenges of keeping a property of this size and scale updated.Regardless it was clean and that was important for us and family

Beautiful pools and facilities, rooms were spacious and close to the pools.
While the front desk staff were nice and helpful, the restaurant staff was the rudest and slowest that we encountered while in Egypt. One of the problems was that there were no drink stations at the dinner buffet and we would be sitting there for almost the whole meal with no drinks, no waiters. A simple poolside lunch took 90 minutes.

the hotel location in the jolie island is excellent. it is a big resort with many things for kids like a zoo, water park, playgrounds and pools. the restaurants were okay as well.
the hotel is super outdated. the old decorations definitely need an update. rooms were maybe updated late 80s early 90s at best. you will lack basic things like a usb charger or an appropriate door lock. we had a family room with 2 joint rooms. it didnt even have a chain lock for the kids' rooms door. also between the rooms there was no door either. so it looked like one big room instead of joint rooms.

Amazing location, good food, very big room with terrace overlooking the pool and the Nile.
The garden is very beautiful and well maintained. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful... which I really appreciated. I even saw a fox!
Apparently, water is not included when booking the dinner buffet. ?
The air was constantly polluted by the dense smoke coming from the fields.
While I understand that this is not a problem that the hotel can solve, maybe some strong air purifiers would help. I had trouble sleeping because the room was not properly insulated and the smoke came in, even when the window was closed.
I don't know who manages the Booking.com chat, but they need to get it together. There was a leak of information and I got contacted via WhatsApp by scammers. I contacted the facility to report the issue and the personnel managing the Booking.com chat told ME not to share my personal details when the scammer got very precise information about my stay from someone else...

Right on the Nile River in beautiful surroundings. Most rooms have river view.
A long walk between room and reception/restaurants. They do have golf carts that take you but you have to reserve and it takes time.

Service took forever. Housekeeping took nearly 45 min to deliver towels to room. Grill restaurant was under staff and again too over 1 hour to be served food. Very disappointing service.

It was one of the most horrible hotel experiences in my life, and I’ve been to many hostels, 2* hotels and basement airbnbs. First of all, this hotel doesn’t deserve 5 stars it has, 3 stars tops. Rooms are outdated and dirty, they look nice on the photo, but it means only that they had good photographer. Reception is overcrowded with only 2 managers working on it, we have to wait for a check in. For some reason reception is not a tall desk to stay behind but a table and two chairs, uncomfortable and outdated, I have felt myself looking for a mortgage in the bank, not checking in the hotel. Same in the spa, just an upselling point with average quality of the service and enormous prices. Since the hotel is big all transportation among the territory relies on the golf cars, which you have to wait for 20-30 minutes. I have ordered a golf car in advance since we were leaving at night and nobody came in the right time, even after the second call nobody came, and we had to walk on foot with suitcases until I just caught an empty golf car on the road. This is not a service level I expect from a hotel with 120-150€/night price. I expect golf car to come if I heard ‘ok’ on the phone, I expect bathrobes when I have asked for them (never got eventually), I expect tranquility and relax not a 100db bass music outside at 10am, I expect a spa included not 10€/30min for sauna.

Absolutely beautiful resort. Staff was wonderful and very helpful. This is one of those resorts that is wonderful whether you decide to stay and enjoy the hotel facilities or visit the temples and sites around the area. Also wonderful breakfast and very good restaurants for dinner.
