This isn’t my first time at The Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh, and honestly, it never disappoints. The hotel still looks as elegant and peaceful as the very first time I visited. Everything is clean, quiet, and just perfect.
What really makes this place special is how they treat every guest like they’re the most important person there. Every request is taken care of with care and attention.
Special shoutout to Mr. Ahmed Bahgat at the front office – super professional and genuinely helpful, and big thanks to Chef Puppa Singh whose food is just amazing – full of flavor and creativity. I highly recommend booking one of the suites with a private pool – total privacy, elegance, and luxury in every detail ??
Best time to capture the magic?
Sunset by the pool ? – the golden light, the Red Sea breeze, the calm… it’s unreal.
One more thing I love about this place:
They really care about sustainability & the environment ?♻️
Everything from water use to eco-conscious design feels intentional and respectful.
For me, this will always be my number one getaway spot when I need to relax and recharge. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves top-notch service, privacy, and luxury.

Excellent and classy hotel .. best for couples .. views from the suites are exceptional .. the vibes on the beach and pool are also amazing .. the suites themselves are of an amazing quality .. but the best feature of the hotel is the staff, exceptionally polite and helpful and always taking the extra mile

With their beautifully executed and remarkably well-maintained Nubian architecture, the buildings are further enhanced by the manicured gardens that contribute to the impressive landscape.
The beach is big and clean, yet its rocky seabed makes it uncomfortable for swimming.
The restaurant's menu is predominantly Indian, despite the absence of Indian guests. To better cater to its guests, the restaurant should consider expanding its offerings to include more international and seafood options.

Absolutely perfect stay at The Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh! The service was 10000/10, the suites were luxurious and spotless, and the whole place radiated peace and elegance. The staff were kind, professional, and so sweet. We loved every moment and can’t wait to come back again!

The staff (some of them) were very kind and helpful. Rest were faking kindness I would say.
- The property is quite old, sun beds by the beach need to be changed badly
- Breakfast was a disaster, nothing we had was good enough (I’ve never seen a smaller buffet in my entire life and whatever we ordered from a la carte was not tasty - also worst coffee I had in my whole life)
- Turn down service was not offered and when you realize how many blindfolds there are, it is really necessary to have this service
- Requested multiple times to change bathrobes daily, request was ignored. Had to call housekeeping every day to change them eventhough they could see that they have been used and are not hanged anymore
- A eid buffet was set at the pool and while it was still operating hours, you couldnt use the pool anymore because of the table setup and smoke smell from preparing for dinner
- Overall service was not amazing and hotel is not worth the money you pay for
