Excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner. Due to the fact that the hotel is comparatively small to the neighbouring hotels, the restaurant had a great "restaurant" feeling that you simply cannot get at very large restaurants. The staff was extremely polite, helpful. As we also used the watersports facility (ION - Club; great equipment and facilities by itself - highly recommended) for Wing Foiling, the hotel was the perfect location for us. We can highly recommend the hotel !

The varied food. Especially the mix of local and international cuisine. Room 1008 was perfectly located. Right next to the pool and 5m from the beach. Still very quiet as there is no annoying animation at the Prestige.
The speed of the internet connection. Wifi connection is good, but the configured bandwidth was poor at 1.5Mbit/s. (the manager will take care of this problem).

Shams prestige staff are very helpful and professional.
I don’t like the attitude of the waiters at imperial shams abou soma, since I was told that I can use all the facilities there.

Bed was very comfortable (pillows were not, but nowhere at the Red Sea you will find good pillows), beautiful view, excellent restaurant with great service. The ION kite club very nearby and you can see the kites flying, this is beautiful and very convenient for kiters like me. Note that other guests were not kiters but rather elderly nice Germans. Very nice pool and beach. This is a nice, relaxing and quite place.
Difficult to open the door with the magnetic card. For both rooms I visited the staff had this problem. Same for me, it was taking me at least 8 tries each time until the door would open. It may be a battery problem. Hope the hotel will fix that soon.
