Very friendly staff specially Mr Ahmed in the restaurant, chef Mahmoud Megally on the grill and chef Hossam on the pasta station

We booked the stay with breakfast, which was good though some more variety would up-level it. This gave us flexibility to explore other meal options on the Sahl Hasheesh waterfront that is accessible from the hotel itself. The sheesha out on the podium was lovely and a great way to wind down after the day's adventures.
Room slippers could be added and the transfer desk could give better pricing for going to Hurghada Marina - we got cheaper rates through Uber

The staff especially at the restaurant and life guards at the main pool were very friendly and very polite, with a smile all the time, food was ok, location is nice
There is a hotel policy that they turn off the AC in the rooms in winter times, and there was a heat wave when we were there which made the temperature rise to about 27 degrees outside of the room and much more inside and we had to sleep with the windows and curtains open which was very uncomfortable and unhealthy because of some mosquitoes, and the problem was that our reservation was prepaid and non refundable so we had to stay for four nights in this situation, booking.com didn’t help us and they only offered 16 dollars as compensation which was very insulting from them

The food was the best , very delicious fresh and every day a different style , (seriously one of the best hotel restaurants ive every been in for all 3 meals)
All the staff was amazing and very polite , beach and beach bas was clean and perfect
Rooms are spacious
-The bed was uncomfortabley hard
-in winter the ac is not working , works only as a vent so on hot days could get a little hot

My stay at Old Palace Resort was very pleasant overall.
The reception had a fast and smooth check-in, which was a great start.
The food was tasty, well-prepared, and varied, with nice desserts. The beach was very clear — I could see colorful fishes directly from the shore and enjoy snorkeling, which was amazing.
The housekeeping team was polite and professional, and the rooms were clean.
The lifeguards were friendly and very helpful.
The heated pool was also a big plus.
Special thanks to Mr. Mohamed Gouda, Chef Ibrahim, and all the chefs for their hard work.
All the staff were polite and welcoming, and the animation team was fun and energetic, creating a great atmosphere.
The snacks at the beach and pool should be more available and varied.
The interior design is a bit old, but still well maintained.
